Modern Vietnamese & Karaoke 🇻🇳🎤 Rừng opened in February this year and serves Vietnamese cuisine, with a few Japanese influences throughout the menu. 🍲 The head chef has experience training in Japanese restaurants, which you can see in dishes like their Vietnamese-style chawanmushi. The restaurant is also super aesthetic, with beautiful wooden tables custom-made and imported from Vietnam. They even have a private karaoke room that can be hired for events or dinner with friends 🎤 Our standout dishes were definitely the Bún Riêu Chawanmushi, Crispy Eggplant and Corn Ribs 😍🌽 The chawanmushi was cooked to perfection and topped with bún riêu, a Vietnamese crab broth with the most amazing flavour. The Crispy Eggplant was surprisingly one of our favourites, coated in a delicious soy glaze, while the Corn Ribs came with kho mayo and sate, which is a Vietnamese-style mayo with chilli and lemongrass. Both were so tasty and would be great options for vegetarians! We also really enjoyed the Twice Cooked Beef Cheeks, which came with purple sweet potato cooked to perfection.
