Seton Hill Doctor of Physical Therapy student Anna Roberts described her summer service trip to Peru with her classmates as “truly life-changing.” 🇵🇪

“We met some of the kindest and most welcoming people, and the trip taught us to take nothing for granted, be kind to everyone, and remember that there is always another way to figure things out.”

Each year, Seton Hill DPT students have the opportunity to take their learning and service beyond the classroom through international experiences while supporting patients with a variety of physical therapy needs. 🌎❤️

The academic year may be over, but service partnerships never break at @setonhilluniversity! Last weekend, several Setonians assisted @waterlandlife with planting in the community garden across from Greengate Center. And yesterday, we dropped off a haul of books at the @ywcathrift Book Cellar to support their community literacy program.

How are you staying grounded in service this summer?

“The goal isn’t to walk across a clinic. The goal is to walk your dog again.”

After a stroke, confidence isn’t built by avoiding challenges.
It’s built by safely practicing them.

That philosophy tends to resonate strongly with both patients and caregivers because it immediately shifts the focus from exercises, to what truly matters: returning to life.

At King Physical Therapy, we believe recovery happens when treatment is connected to meaningful goals. Whether that’s walking your dog, playing with your grandchildren, returning to work, or getting back to the gym, your rehabilitation should prepare you for the life you want to live.

We’re also proud to invest in the future of our profession. Thank you to our current @setonhill_dpt Seton Hill University Doctor of Physical Therapy intern, Geoffrey Helm, for the compassion, dedication, and hard work you bring each day while helping our patients achieve meaningful progress.
And a special thank you to our amazing neighbors at Wayfarer CrossFit @wayfarercrossfit for generously allowing us to utilize your incredible space to challenge our patients in ways that better prepare them for the real world.
💙 Compassion
💙 Connection
💙 Excellence
💙 Integrity
💙 Growth

Your goals become our plan. Your progress is our purpose.
