2016 hey
Yeesh, a year of trying to live to the fullest after almost dying _(ツ)_/¯
It was challenging. I battled drinking a lot, amongst many many unaddressed and ignored mental health concerns. I struggled to get back into my life, failed my English 12 final, had to basically start all over again once we hit March. A big part of my presentations at schools is about my challenges in the year right after my accident. But it was all very defining, iconic, and there were still amazing times.

1: meeting @heathen_gang and @caasihale from @knockedloosehc at their first ever show in Vancouver. It was at the Cobalt. MAYBE 16 people in the room for their set, me and a couple others were the only ones moving. When we took this pic, they said they just wrapped up recording their debut album. To see how far they’ve come is incredible and I’m happy to call myself a day 1

2: one of the first times back on stage after my accident

3: random road trip day

4: @lights acoustic - I cried lots

5: embracing my performer personality and jumping on vocals

6: first time back on stage playing bass

7: meeting king @travisbarker - after a very brief chat in the group meet & greet, he called me back to his change room to hang out and chill before the show. Incredibly kind man

8: more stage shenanigans

9: I graduated high school

10: went to Pemberton Music Fest and went on a 6 day bender. Discovered @bullythemusic the second this picture was taken

11: more stage shenanigans

12: started my journey of becoming an audio engineer by going to Nimbus (and meeting @itstessanderson which changed my life)

13: beginning to become the iron clad drum engineer I am today

If you made it this far, thanks for sticking with me :)

Public transit is a public benefit. Let’s fund it like it is. Our awesome volunteers Solomon and Arden spoke at the recent Mayor’s Council meeting to share the findings from our Transit’s Next Top Funding Model competition where 8 teams presented funding model solutions to fix the revenue gap for transit in Metro Vancouver.

The winners? Sales Tax, according to judges, and Vehicle Levy according to the audience. We need a permanent funding solution for transit to keep our regions, its people and its local economy flowing smoothly!
