We are proud to collaborate with @seva.bc to donate warm clothing to Christine Lamb Residence housing. Due to the cold weather this year more and more people are in need of jackets, socks and other winter supplies.

Crossroads Dairy also reached out to us needing blankets and sheets. Within this collaboration with Seva BC we have also been able to donate the supplies requested.

Yesterday December 7, 2021 we had the privilege of having a press conference at the @sboft

We are fortunate that we have been able to help as much as we have helped thus far. But the work is not yet over. There are currently thousands of people that are still not in their homes and are in dire need of supplies.

The community has come together to help with supplies, funds, and their time but we will need more. There is a long road ahead.

We are currently taking donations via e-transfer iksansarfoundation@gmail.com

You can send also send a donation to our
Gofundme link:

Thank you to Surrey Board of Trade for hosting us yesterday.

This has been another very busy week at the food bank! We have a lot of people to thank! Our regular volunteers who have continued to step up, new volunteers who have jumped right in, and all of the individuals, businesses, faith groups, and more, who have made food and financial donations which have allowed us to serve all of the extra people who have needed our help.

A few specific thank yous this week go to:

Birchwood Dairy Farm, Seva BC, the Women’s Curling Club, Save-On-Foods, Global Convention Services Ltd., Hello Bello, Hydralyte Canada, Rumble, Laikiricecrackers, Go Pure by Leclerc, for their generous donations of money and/or products.
Also, a very special thank you to Jeremy, who donated money from her birthday to the #StarfishPackProgram.

We have felt so loved and supported during this time of uncertainty, and it has shown us again how grateful we are to be part of this special community.

The purpose of this volunteer fair is to connect youth to positive volunteer opportunities in their local communities. This volunteer and recruitment fair isn't just a chance for us to showcase the wonderful work local organizations and business do, but it is also a chance for us to generate a sense of community and help people network. We hope you all made valuable connections and signed up to give back.
•••
Thank you to all the organizations who came out! We hope to see you all next year!
