Geist at Entanglement was jointly curated by @by_subset and @gamma.channel. The 360° room channeled inspiration from Pauline Oliveros’ premise that attention is generative: the space maintained a dark aesthetic to invite hypnotic listening. Pockets of light moved slowly between artist and environment, but never pulling the listeners away from the musical center.

Above the stage, a tensioned sculpture of aluminum and fabric, projection-mapped to resolve from every angle. On the back wall, a wall projection was mapped on a large metal mesh. Visuals consisted of warped textures, non-repeating patterns, and references to waves and melting lava. Featured projection works by Subset, @fabric_of_little_wings for Suzanne Ciani and @blcksgnl for Function.

A snapshot from Monday night at @futuresound.io

A perfect ending to a weekend of revelling in music, conversation and creativity.

This event has really renewed my faith in the power of Music in a world- paradigm which has become quite “flat” in recent years (IMO). I learned a LOT , I added to my musical lexicon… I listened, and I played my heart out.

Thanks to everyone who attended and made the experience so special for us all @jimmy_kyriacou , The Future is Sound Movement , @l.acoustics.official and all the artists … I feel like this is a most positive force , glad to be part of it ❤️

We still can’t quite believe that one of our biggest inspirations dropped by our jam session 🤯

Thank you to the incomparable @sevwave for dropping by Sunday School this week. What began as a weekly jam session to demystify hardware-based production and communal music-making has turned into such a special community, and it was a true honour and privilege to welcome this living legend to our little space.

Thank you Suzanne, for being so generous with your time and knowledge. We’ll be thinking about this for a very long time ❤️

Never thought I’d see @sevwave jamming on my Buchla 200e, but here we are!

Still buzzing from a very special @createdefinerelease Sunday School where we welcomed Suzanne Ciani for a Q&A with @tonynwachukwu_ followed by our community jam.

Suzanne has been a huge inspiration in my own journey with the Buchla, so getting to pick her brain about patching and live performance, and then hearing her play my own system was pretty surreal!

She also suggested connecting my iPad to my @eventideaudio H90 via Bluetooth. Just tried it and it’s an instant game changer 🤯

Such a lovely person and incredibly generous with her time and knowledge 💎

Rounded things off catching her show at @earthackney and picking up a signed copy of CIANI/ORKEST, her LP with metropoleorkest

Massive thanks to Suzanne, Tony and the CDR family for making this happen. What a couple of days!

How To make your dreams come true! 🥹💘

Last night’s sold out screening of John Wilson’s The History of Concrete at The Triplex was transcendent to experience with my friends and community. I’d been looking forward to this for months and repeatedly resisted the urge to watch it elsewhere because I wanted to see it for the first time with everyone in that room.

I knew I had to organize this special screening right here in my community. I was determined to do whatever it took to make it happen. And it happened. And it was perfect.

The “rockumentary” was funny, educational, thought provoking, profound and just so honest and real. The amazing Q&A with Z afterward made it even more meaningful.

I love John Wilson’s genuine curiosity about life and the way he elevates the voices and stories of everyday people, noticing the quotidian details that are so important but often overlooked. I’ve never resonated with anyone’s films so deeply in my life. I’m overjoyed to see something so relatable and down to earth selling out movie theaters around the world.

Thank you to @thetriplexgb for being here, @peepingjohn for making the trip out to Great Barrington, @zbehl for moderating the Q&A, and every single one of you for coming out for this truly unforgettable evening!
