Anything is possible. I never doubted it.
More than the awards themselves, I’m grateful for everything they represent and for the journey that brought me here.
I have so much to be grateful for. For everything I have, everything I’ve earned, everything that left, everything I’m about to let go of, and everything new that has found its way into my life.
This year has been a year of change, growth, and transformation. I’m incredibly grateful that life allowed me to make it this far, but even more grateful that I can now see there is still so much road ahead and so much higher I can go.
Sometimes, I don’t even know how to receive these moments. But one thing I can tell you for sure: I’m getting used to it.
Not to the awards.
To becoming better.
To evolving.
To challenging myself.
To waking up every day committed to being 1% better than I was yesterday.
Because the real reward isn’t what you receive in your hands. It’s who you become along the way.
And I’m just getting started.

El aplauso es Pa’ mami y papi.

I’d be Puerto Rican even if I was born on the damn moon. 🇵🇷🌙
Puerto Rico National Guard watched me grow.
Florida National Guard gave me the battlefield to develop.
And now, from Florida, we’re still doing exactly what we came to this world to do:
Serve. Lead. Develop. Impact lives.
This uniform has taken me places I never imagined, but the mission has always remained the same: help people and leave a legacy worth remembering.
So now we keep moving.
No hesitation. No excuses. No looking back.
Vamos con todo y por todo. 🇵🇷🇺🇸
Because it’s never too late to chase what’s yours.
What belongs to you isn’t going to find you sitting still, it’s waiting for you to go get it.
Mission continues.
Stay bold.
Make an impact.

🇵🇷🔥🇺🇸

Nine weeks, more challenges than I can count, and one badge I’ll be incredibly proud to wear for the rest of my Army career. It’s hard to describe what it means to earn this badge. I’m proud, humbled, and truly honored to wear it and to have the opportunity to help shape the next generation of Soldiers. 🥹

And I definitely didn’t do these nine weeks alone. I met some of the most amazing people along the way, and the friendships and memories we made are something I’ll carry with me long after we leave here.
One of the best parts of earning this badge and campaign hat is getting to share it with my sister. We chose different branches and followed very different paths but somehow we both ended up earning the privilege of helping shape the next generation of service members. Getting to share something this meaningful with my sister makes me even more proud of how far we’ve both come.
An experience I’ll never forget and a badge I’ll always be proud to wear.

THIS WE’LL DEFEND.

A complete honor to wear this badge and carry the responsibility that comes with it.

For me, becoming a Drill Sergeant is more than an accomplishment, it’s a dream I’ve been working toward since the beginning of my Army journey.

I’ve always believed that I was meant to do more than simply walk through this life. I came into this world to make an impact, to influence others, to lead, and to leave people better than I found them. Today, I get to step into a role that represents exactly that purpose.

This badge carries a legacy, a responsibility, and the trust to shape the next generation of Soldiers. I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I am proud. I am humbled. I am grateful.

The journey brought me here, but my purpose is what will carry me forward.
Drill Sergeant a title I’ve looked forward to earning, and a responsibility I will be honored to carry.

THIS WE’LL DEFEND..

There’s a new E7 on the block! 😎🔥
Honestly, I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity and for every person who has supported me, challenged me, believed in me, and helped me get here. This one definitely didn’t happen overnight.
And listen… don’t ever let anyone tell you it’s too late. If there’s something you want, go for it. Work for it. Bet on yourself. Sometimes you just have to remind yourself that what’s meant for you is already yours, you just have to show up and claim it.
They say the world belongs to those who show up… and baby, I’m here!
I know this new rank comes with a whole lot more responsibility, but I’m ready for it. I’m ready to learn, lead, grow, and give my absolute best to the Soldiers entrusted to me.
I don’t take this promotion lightly. I’m grateful, I’m humbled, and I promise to make this count.

Sorry I’ve been M.I.A. 😅 I’ve been a little busy earning this baby.
Officially badged as a Drill Sergeant.
The long days, early mornings, sweat, exhaustion, and sacrifices were all worth it. This badge represents so much more than completing a course, it represents discipline, resilience, leadership, and the responsibility to help shape the next generation of Soldiers.

Receiving an Army Commendation Medal and such a meaningful, one of a kind plaque from the leaders and Soldiers of the 50th RSG (My former unit) fills me with gratitude.
Thank you for this incredible honor.
The plaque itself was made from one of my uniform tops, and that gesture meant more to me than words can express. It was thoughtful, personal, and truly special, something I will always treasure.
What many may not know is that when this unit selected me for the position, it didn’t just impact my career, it gave my life and my future an opportunity at a moment when I truly needed one. You welcomed me as I was, trusted me through whatever I was navigating personally and professionally, and gave me every tool to succeed.
A special thank you to MSG Susana Duran, my leader, my and the NCO I aspire to be. She set the standard, invested in me, and showed me what right leadership looks like.
The 50th RSG will always hold a special place in my heart.
Forever grateful. 🇺🇸🎖️
