@solacesaservices is grateful to have been present for the 102nd burning of Zozobra! Solace is a recipient of the @kiwanis and @burnzozobra grant for our bilingual education in our No Mas program. This funding will ensure our bilingual sex health education will continue to be offered to 7th and 8th graders in Santa Fe. Solace’s Education & Prevention Manager, M.B. accepted the award for Solace. She was also fortunate to run into one of @santafe.police ‘s S.V.U. detectives, Detective Gonzales along with past Sargent of the S.V.U. Lieutenant Ramirez. Thank you for ensuring our safety that evening and throughout fiestas along with the other Law Enforcement units present. Solace was asked to speak about our work along with two other grant recipients from @cookingwithkidsnm and @sfcmuseum in front of our community and we are honored for the invitation. The center of my advocacy: joy. Joy is a form of resistance, of liberation, and is valuable in itself. My first official task as @sfcmuseum Vice President of the Board was to include the “big kids” in the joy, and thanks to the phenomenal staff at the museum and our amazing fam-owned partners, we did just that! We raised a bunch of money and had the absolute best time. Our Associate Broker @denzlercassidy and our Marketing Director @_santafam_ are proud @sfcmuseum Board Members! They recently hosted a “grown-ups” night at the museum complete with LEGO Bricks, Brews from @santafebrewing, tunes from @lostpadrerecords and Tacos from @el.chile.toreado with support from our friends at @zacharyandsonshomes They raised thousands of dollars which directly benefits children in Northern New Mexico. A big part of the RT culture is supporting our community ❤️
