The return to glory.

Something happens when you DNF. You spend days thinking about what you could've done differently, and you wonder if you actually had to pull out or if you quit on yourself. I've spent months trying to come back from BMO. It's the low point of my running journey. I can confidently say I've transcended the runner I used to be.

I am so so unbelievably proud of the work I put into this block. Not only did I have to rebuild all my speed and strength but my mental toughness as well. There were so many times where I didn't think I'd hit my times or my efforts but the only way to find out if I could was to put on foot in front of the other and keep going. I had to put a lot courage into this block more than anything else

I owe so much of this progression to @mark_nendick . Having a coach has been a game changer and mark was the perfect guy for me. Encouraging, caring, supportive, energetic. I can't even count how many times he had to talk me down from a panic.

Ultimately, marathon day mattered most because I got to share it with my mom and dad. They rode all over Victoria to see me and they cheered me on through some really hard sections. I'm so glad I got to show you the resilience and perseverance you enstilled in me to be the strongest man I can be.

I feel like I'm finally me again. It took a while, but I feel so strong and happy and confident. Sometimes we stumble and we fall, but I'd like to think we aren't measured by our failures, but rather our ability to put a foot in front of the other when we feel defeated, tired, and scared.

I'll see you in a few months BMO. I'm coming for redemption. I'm coming for it all 🤟

It's been one year since I took on the biggest challenge of my life. 100km ran on a 3km loop. 16 hours. Over 1500$ raised to bring awareness to mental health and s*icide.

I've been thinking a lot about this run over the last week. I remember being so nervous opening up about my struggles with s*icide. Ultimately, the courage it took to be vulnerable and open up about my struggles has allowed me to live a more authentic and geniune life. I hope I can just continue to show others that are struggling that there is a way through the fog. There are tough and scary days but I know you have the power to continue moving forward. It will get better for you because it got sooooo much better for me.
This world is a better place because you are here ❤️

Thank you to everyone that showed up for me to encourage me on and run with me. I don't think I could've done it without you there.

At the @lululemon Seawheeze half marathon Brock and I had a pretty special moment.

Alongside our good friends, Brock and I have helped build @sfsg.rc and @_continuumclub run clubs in our local community.

I looked over at Brock and noticed we were both sporting our own run clubs custom hats. Many just see a logo, but to us it represents the pillars of commitment, community, movement and mentality - all values we preach to our running crews.

I was really proud to wear the hat that day. Keep pushin’ ❤️🤟🏽

I asked the run crew a question tonight…
I thought they were more caring, who knew! 😂
