Best @lambtownfestival ever!

I can’t believe this much fun could be packed into one weekend! Lambtown continues to be my favorite fiber event of the year and it just outdid itself this past weekend! I got to see old friends, make new friends, tried new things like teaching a dye class, showed off my yarn and samples, debuted new colorways, shared silly stories, ate lots of great food, and had lots of family time!

Despite making an effort to take more photos, I’m kicking myself for the ones I didn’t get but that just means I was busy living in the moment. Here are a few of the moments I did manage to capture:

1. Friends! Old friends, new friends, awesome people just make everything better!

2. Samples! I knit plenty but definitely can’t make everything, so huge thanks to sample knitters @karaleeharding and @greyghostfibrearts for some serious assistance! There were more samples in the booth and I’ll get to those later.

3. The blacklight corner! That’s how you can find us at any fiber festival we attend until y’all stop all the oohs and ahhs! Please don’t stop, though because we love the corner! Special thanks to a customer (I’m so sorry that I can’t remember your name) who brought dolls that her friend made using my yarn for the doll hair! They are next level awesome and I LOVE seeing your creations!

4. Teaching! Just a few pics from my dye class - I loved every moment, and definitely want to do more to share the knowledge. Having great and talented students made it extra special!

5. New colorways! Just a few brand new colorways that debuted at the show plus some fresh bases (Yak Floof and Butter Tweed both in fingering and DK).

6. Staying cool! It was HOT in Dixon so we stayed cool by guzzling so much lemonade!

7. The morning after! This morning’s breakfast outing as the family and I begin the recovery process.

What was your favorite part of the #LambtownFestival2023?
