Remember to vote for Sean Wharton this Thursday, 2 July, in Llantarnam.

We're into the final few days of this campaign, and Sean is incredibly grateful for all the support he's received from people across the ward.

Sean has spent the campaign out in the community, listening to residents, knocking doors and talking about the issues that matter most.

If you want a hardworking local councillor who will always put Llantarnam first, vote Sean Wharton on Thursday 2 July.

Protecting Monmouthshire's rivers starts with understanding their health.

Every week, volunteers like Councillor Catrin Maby carry out citizen science water testing across our county, helping to build a clearer picture of the challenges facing our waterways.

Protecting our rivers and natural environment is a priority for Monmouthshire's Labour-led administration - because safeguarding these special places today means future generations can enjoy them tomorrow.

🚂 MAGOR WALKWAY STATION: I have written a letter with Lynne Neagle MS and Mary Ann Brocklesby, Leader of Monmouthshire County Council, to the new Plaid Cymru Welsh Government seeking reassurance that it remains committed to delivering Magor Walkway Station within the agreed timelines.

Earlier this year, the station was finally confirmed following £445M of South Wales Rail investment from the UK Government - the result of incredible campaigning by local residents, councillors and the fantastic MAGOR group.

A station in Magor is vital for economic development, local opportunities and greener travel.

I will continue doing everything I can to make sure this station is built as soon as possible.

This Volunteers' Week, we're saying thank you to the people who help make Monmouthshire such a caring and compassionate place to live.

At Bulwark Foodbank, volunteers give their time, energy and kindness to support people when they need it most. Their work makes a real difference, helping families through difficult times and strengthening the communities around them.

They are just one example of the thousands of volunteers across Monmouthshire who quietly give their time to support others, run local groups, organise events, look after community spaces and lend a helping hand whenever it's needed.

Thank you to every volunteer who helps protect and strengthen our communities. Your commitment, generosity and hard work make Monmouthshire a better place for us all.

Cllr Mary Ann Brocklesby, Leader of Monmouthshire Council, welcomes the reopening of the Llanthony road following February’s landslip.

The closure caused major disruption for residents, businesses and everyone travelling through the area, which is why council teams worked tirelessly to get the road reopened as quickly and safely as possible.

Mary Ann has thanked everyone involved in the repairs, along with local residents and businesses for their patience, understanding and support throughout a very difficult few months.

Today is a real choice for Monmouthshire and Torfaen. 🌹

Between Welsh Labour - investing in schools, public services and local communities - or parties offering anger, division and no real plan for the future.

Polling stations are open until 10pm tonight.

And remember - you do not need your polling card to vote.

If you want to protect the progress we’ve made and keep building for the future, vote Welsh Labour today.

Cracking turnout in Llanfoist this morning - great to see so many out on the doorstep.

We’re hearing a consistent message. Some people who’ve backed Labour before - who share our values and want to vote Labour again - have seen claims from other parties suggesting they’re best placed to stop Reform, and are rightly asking questions.

On the doorstep, we’re able to set that out clearly. In Monmouthshire, neither Plaid nor the Greens have the presence to win here - the choice is between Welsh Labour and Reform.

That’s why these conversations matter. And today, they were genuinely positive and constructive.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to speak with us

Great to welcome Andy Burnham to Big Pit alongside Senedd candidates Anthony Hunt and Lynne Neagle and with support from Nick Thomas-Symonds MP

Andy knows what it means to stand up for working people - and he didn’t hold back. While others try to rebrand themselves, the reality is clear: Reform’s politics are rooted in the same Thatcherite ideas that left communities like ours behind.

Welsh Labour is different. We’re focused on protecting what matters, building for the future, and backing our communities every step of the way.

Anthony and Lynne have a track record of delivering locally - and they’re ready to keep fighting for Blaenavon and beyond.

Stay the course. Vote Welsh Labour on May 7.

A lovely evening out in Park Ward, Abergavenny, enjoying the spring sunshine and speaking to residents on the doorstep 🌼

Really positive conversations with Labour voters who are pleased with Catherine Fookes’ record in Parliament and are backing Labour again this Senedd election.

Great too to meet people who’ve already cast their postal votes for Labour - every vote matters, and it’s brilliant to see that support coming through early.

If you haven’t voted yet, make sure you do on May 7th. Vote Welsh Labour.

A great day out in Caldicot with First Minister Eluned Morgan, Mary Ann Brocklesby, local councillors and Senedd candidates.

Across Monmouthshire, the response has been really encouraging - lots of positive conversations about what matters locally, from protecting vital services to continuing to invest in our communities.

There’s a clear sense that while there’s more to do, people want to keep moving forward with a team that’s already delivering.

And just as importantly, there’s little appetite for the risk and uncertainty that comes with Reform and other, untested parties.

To protect the progress we’ve made and keep building a thriving Monmouthshire, vote Welsh Labour on May 7th. 🌹
