Our adventure media can be so much more, and I'm always excited when I can figure out how to blend what we know into artistic realms that often get left behind for the known path.

I started these calendars as a way to get people to diversity the posters they had up on their wall making sure they had art they could actually see themselves in as well as to inspire them to the harder limits of our sport.

An excellent gift for climbers and adventure photography buffs a like, this is the last day (12/09) to put in your order for a 2025 calendar.

Festival Program sneak peak: 👀 Our panel discussion on Diversity and Inclusion in Rock Climbing (and outdoor rec/sports in general) will be moderated by the incredible Shabana @shabanasabreenali !

Shabana is a racialized climber from the East Coast, who has had the privilege of climbing and adventuring for over 25 years. She is an active co-facilitator for the QTBIPOC community climbing initiative BelayAll @belay.all and the co-founder of the South Asian Climbers Coalition (SACC) @southasianclimberscoalition .

Shabana recently completed a Master’s at UBC, which focused on the racialized experiences of South Asian climbers in colonially-named Canada. She now works as the Marketing & Communications Assistant at The Hive @hiveclimbing climbing gyms in Vancouver, while continuing to engage in academic work, community projects, and climbing (of course)!

We are also excited to welcome a small panel of guest speakers, including representatives from @belay.all @soul.of.miistaki and @pridesquamish . If you haven’t already, we recommend giving these groups a follow to learn more about, and support, inclusive communities in BC and Alberta!

The panel discussion will be taking place at our Rock and Rise festival on Saturday July 6th from 7-8pm at the Loggers Sports festival grounds. Head to www.rock-and-rise.com/festival to check out our complete weekend schedule (and anything else you’d like to know about our upcoming event!).

Only a handful of admission tickets and clinics spots remaining, so grab ‘em while you can! Less than one month until the big weekend and we can’t wait learn, connect and celebrate together 💜

Check out Shabana!

One of the panelists who will be giving a talk at the Rio Theatre on October 10,6pm for Girls Gone Hueco

🌄 Girls Gone Hueco :

Featuring 5 climbers from the U.S. and Canada, Girls Gone Hueco celebrates the fiery girl gang energy that naturally happens when you get a strong group of ladies together. The women converge on historic Hueco Tanks, TX, to try hard, project boulder problems and share their unique personalities, perspectives and approaches to climbing. Girls Gone Hueco will show that there is no one way to ‘be a climber’. Our goal is to get this film in front of as many eyes as possible and inspire the next generation!

If you like tickets, DM us so you can get $5 off your ticket!
