Ever wonder how much sun that backyard actually gets in December? ☀️

There’s an app for that. ShadeMap lets you drag a slider through any time of day, any day of the year, and see exactly how sunlight and shade will hit a property — before you write an offer. Huge for anyone dreaming of a garden, solar panels, or a kitchen that’s actually bright in the morning.

Ask your agent to run it before your next showing. (Yes, that’s me 👋)

🌞 Wow August was a blast!!!

Lots of sunrays, early mornings, naked swims and bird families, sweetest Shakti connections, the fullest moon and pinkest skies 🌸

Sometimes I get so focused on trying to pitch & close bigger jobs that I forget how beneficial it can be to start small with a new client and just simply over delivery.

If you impress the client you can get bigger jobs and/or a nice referral along with a raving review. If you find that future work isn’t profitable enough you can let them know politely how you may not be a long-term fit and suggest someone else.

The mission I got from Architect William Fisher was simple. To capture exterior photos of one of his older commercial building designs in downtown San Jose that is wrapped in polished red granite. He designed this back in the late 1980’s and never got it professionally photographed.

He loved them so much, he invited me to his Santa Cruz Studio Offices to meet him and his team. He had so many cool stories to share and at the end of it I was happy I took on this brief yet meaningful project.
