A new season begins 🤸🏻 25–26, you were intense and wildly nourishing. Before jumping into what’s next, here’s a little chronological recap.

September · I finally got my hands on a copy of sociologist Fabien Granjon’s book, in which I had the pleasure of telling, over some twenty pages together with my partner in virtue Melissa Acchiardi, the story of a year-long creative residency at the Maison du Peuple, working with the children from the neighbourhood “les Avignonnets”, a few years ago already. Time, babe.

A week of creation at La Metive for Variations on Tenderness, our new piece with my beloved Pol Pi and Nitsan Margaliot. Premiering in November at Atelier de Paris, as part of the Festival d’Automne.

October · My very first day as an Art teacher in the “Hors Format” department at HEAR in Strasbourg. A year full of emotions, discoveries and beautiful encounters. Being so close to the students’ work nourished me and moved me way beyond what I could have imagined.

Bleeep bleeeep blop trrrrr prrrrr krrrrr bouep (translation not guaranteed) in the basement of an almost Parisian house I absolutely loved living in — for a short while, but long enough to meet housemates who became people I love very, very deeply.

November · The premiere of Quelques Choses in Paris, a piece by Chloé Zamboni for which I had the pleasure of composing the music. It also gave me the chance to meet with beautiful dancers Marie Viennot and Joachim Maudet, and to reunite with Tom Beauseigneur and his premium ears.

The very last concert (and photo) of my band CHROMB! Something like our 250th. Fifteen years of history, five albums, and ridiculously strong bonds forged on the road, through all the people we met along the way. This final concert felt like a celebration. It happened at our beloved Le Périscope in Lyon, which hosted every single one of our release parties since 2012. It was beautiful. Very emotional. And for the first time ever, we actually took a bow before leaving the stage. If you ever decide to end your band, give yourselves one last concert. It’s worth it, trust me!

I made around 140 drawings in this small format, plus some bigger ones (but fewer of those).
