POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Very honoured to have been asked and given permission to paint Uncle Wes Marne, a Bigambul man who has lived on the lands of the Darug people for over forty years.
I was accompanied by my friend and artist @saltwaterdreamtime to add some touches to the piece.

Uncle Wes, who turned 101 on Tuesday, is an amazing storyteller and is known throughout the community for his Aboriginal culture and education.

He may not remember meeting a younger me when I was teaching in Whalan in another lifetime, where his stories and connection to culture had a massive impact on my learning.

A better quality image calls for a #repost. Calling all basketball fans, we've got another mural for ya and we just couldn’t wait to talk about it!

Book An Artist's continued collaboration with @rebelsport has resulted in yet another marvellous retail mural. You may recall the piece painted for Rebel Sport in April for Westfield Doncaster. Unknowingly, it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship between us and Rebel Sport (we’re talkin’ secret handshakes, code names and a hidden clubhouse).

Whispers of new renovations throughout Westfiled Parramatta made our "mural-senses" tingle. It wasn’t long before Rebel Sport flashed the bat signal into the night sky. We knew there was a blank wall in need of painting and we had the BEST man for the job.

Sydney based artist, Shannon Boyd, wasted no time and smashed out a fantastic design featuring two Australian legends.

Basketball players Lauren Jackson and Patty Mills are two of Australia’s most decorated athletic icons. Lauren Jackson made the Australian under-20’s team at 14 years old, making her a positive representation for young women looking to play ball. Patty Mills is a proud Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander player who uses his platform to speak out against unsportsmanlike, racist behaviours. Both Lauren and Patty are courageous athletes and Olympians that perfectly embody Rebel Sport’s values.

Shannon completed the project quick as a flash! The end result is an inspiring combination of passion for sports and artistic talent. We couldn't be prouder.

The Casmiri Sibling Rally Duo Aaron Casmiri and Adriana Pallister are competing today at the Midstate Freight Caves Classic Rally in Oberon!

The team are looking forward to seeing the Mirage’s improvements since the changes from the last event in Bateman’s Bay.

Our goal is to get to the finish line, and get some kilometres under the car before the Netier National Capital Rally in Canberra later in the year.

We will be posting updates throughout the day, but you can follow live results on ChrisSport (link in bio).

We wish all the competitors a safe and successful rally today. Let’s go!
