there aren’t enough ways to thank 2025 for stretching me the way it has.
every moment shaped me into a new version of nala and i’m better for it.
moving to a new country, traveling, moments of solitude and moments of noise all taught me something about myself.

you cannot grow in comfort.
you cannot grow without change.

Swipe to see the first family portrait I created of the Patels! My illustration style has evolved a little and the family has changed just a bit as well!

That @balmain print totally got the best of me at first! I’m quite pleased on how it turned out!

I can’t say enough good things about this family! Thank you for having me at @nalappatel and @ulon.patel high school graduation party. It was incredible, you are incredible hosts! I am so excited to see what these, now young adults, accomplish in their next chapter!

Back in 2019, I had my first ever gig as a Live Fashion Illustrator at the Grand Opening of the Saint Kate Arts Hotel. I created an illustration for a dynamic duo at 1am, @i.am.gorgsp and @high_vibrationalfrequencies They trusted my talents and hired me for family milestones and charity events. I will forever be grateful to those who have supported my business!

My next post will be of their family portrait I created! Stay tuned!

Looking for something fun to do today here in Milwaukee? ✨ Head to Shorewood to support the Shorewood Artists Guild 🖼 during their Fall Art Auction & walking tour! Check out art in the windows of local businesses & if there’s something that catches your eye, you can bid on it online!

I had a wonderful time checking out the art with a few of my favorite local bloggers + fashionistas! Grabbed a pumpkin 🎃 beer from @mymetromarket & a hot chocolate from @thecitymarketcafe along the way! You can always grab a macaron from @northshoreboulangerie or chocolates from @indulgencechoco to munch on as well!
