It's amazing how time can seem to pass in a blink of an eye. Today we went to the doctor for a well visit and Calder didn't cry at all when he got his shots, even though they 'hurt so so much'. He picked out a banana at the grocery store as his snack instead of a cookie because he was going to have cupcakes later and didn't want a tummy ache. We dropped off his registration for big boy school he'll be starting in August, the school he'll be going to through 8th grade. Today, our strong, sweet, smart, far too energetic boy turned four. He makes me more tired and frustrated than anyone else in the world and he also makes me laugh more, love more and be amazed more than I have ever been. Happy Birthday baby dragon. We love your heart ❤️

It was a hectic weekend but that smile always makes it worthwhile. Thank you to everyone who came to make Calder's birthday party special!

Finally got to give Calder his last Xmas gift today! Jurassic Tour Live! To say he was a fan is a bit of an understatement 😂. For a bonus we got to show him where Mommy and Daddy got married! He was not quite as enthused for that but always willing to yell cheese at my phone 😅

Goodbye house. Goodbye Austin. Thanks for the beautiful memories ❤️

In 2015 Leo and I decided we would start our marriage off together with a new adventure, one that took us to Austin, TX. We immediately fell in love with this weird, wildly creative, beautiful city. We were away from family but our little family flourished with wonderful friends, endless wild space exploration and so much good food! This is the city where we became home owners and parents. It's the only home Calder has known.

Yesterday, Leo and I signed the papers to officially sell our home to it's new owners. There are so many emotions from excitement to the new adventure to come to loss of the place where we have so many important memories.

Next week we close on our beautiful new(to us) house in Orlando, FL. August 8 we make our return to the City Beautiful. While I am sad this chapter of our lives is coming to a close and we will be farther away from many friends that are more like family, we are excited to be near family again and returning to our fantastic friends still in Orlando.

Photographing family sessions is always a special moment 🌟⠀
⠀
I know just how important it is to the family to really capture them together, especially if they have little ones!! ⠀
⠀
Knowing that they will be able to look back years from now and cherish those memories at that age and that I was able to be a part of that..well it definitely makes my job extra special! 👨‍👩‍👦⠀
