Popsugar photoshoot or a new "America’s Next Top Model" episode? We all made our guesses for who took the best pic . . . before seeing the photos. Now it’s your turn — who do YOU think took the best shot?

🧚🏾‍♀️🧚🏾‍♀️🧚🏾‍♀️“Spicemas could never be a bad decisionnnn…” 🇬🇩✨🤌🏾 The pics are in and it’s official— a time was had at Fancy Mas with di baddest crew! Here I was thinking I’d play Jab 😈 and have a cutesy and demure masquerade experience 💅🏽 but nope, Spicemas had other plans. 🤭🙂‍↔️😂💕✨

Grenada Fancy Mas set a NEW bar. Energy. Dancing nonstop. The nicest people. Traditional carnival characters part of the festivities. Culture!

Maybe it’s because it was my first carnival in 5+years, postpartum, but masquerading made me feel more powerful in my own skin than ever.

Fancy carnivals on the islands were once only a privilege for colonizers from Europe. Forbidden to enslaved Africans. Afro-descendants made their own traditions, a fusion of old and new cultural elements.

Fancy Mas is defiance in its own way. As a daughter of the diaspora, I may be American 🇺🇸 but I always feel at home in the Caribbean, *especially* at carnival. 🇵🇷🖤❤️💚🫶🏾

Thank you @melandnmedia @chambersmediasolutions @puregrenada @industry360 and @spicemasgrenada for making sure we had special memories of the road! 🙏🏾💕✨🇬🇩

My curls have trust issues, so when @got2busa claimed their curly hair products lock in moisture and block humidity for 72 hours, I had to put them to the test in this NYC heat. Did they hold up? Let’s get into it.
