Last week I took a group of friends to the CBJ game. For two, it was their first time! For the others, we had previously sat lower bowl. Regardless, these friends have never seen a home loss. Well, one was complaining that the cannon was louder in these seats. So……I may have chosen to not warn when it came to the winning cannon at the end. Please enjoy Sharon’s celebration of the win!

I thought loitering in a res hall lounge with a group of people and building an incomparable bond would be a once in a lifetime experience (looking at you Ritchie 05/06!) but then this summer happened 🤣 Stuck in Detroit for almost a month, away from all the things we care about, and bonding over elevator popcorn chicken and ramen 🤣🤣🤣 It was a time none of us every wanna do again, but I’m so glad I got to do it with these gems!

Let's get to know the #NASPA4E Regional Board!

Meet Sharon, KC Co-Coordinator (Identity-Based)

💼 Assistant Director, Residential Communities @KentState
📍 Hometown: NY/NJ
🎵 Fav Song atm: Cover Me in Sunshine by P!nk & Willow Sage Hart
😄 Fun Fact: I'm proudly one of *those* dog moms! I have a notebook/bag with Sir Winthrop's face on them. He has an instagram, he has costumes for every holiday, I spend more time at the dog park than at home. But it's all worth it because he's the best pup in the land! When asked why Sharon got involved with NASPA 4E: I've spent most of my career at small private institutions, so networking & collaboration with folks was a little harder. Getting plugged in with NASPA IV-E gave me the opportunity to make connections with people across the region and function areas. It also made the hugeness of NASPA feel more manageable, which has been helpful as an introvert.

I 💜 these humans! Today we had our last @naspa_tamkc meeting with our current board! And my last meeting as @naspa4e rep and conference co-chair! More to come on my next appointment, but I have adored working with these humans! The fact that I actually look forward to a meeting that’s Friday at 4pm shows how much these people lighten and enlighten my life! 🤣 They’re amazingly hardworking, sassy, and a tad bit silly. So honored to have been a part of this team! 😍 #werecute
