Very happy to announce that I’ve made it into several productions recently. I was featured in Knives 2027 for an older picture of one of my JS knives (before I cleaned it up a bit to pass the standards), as well as the October issue of Blade Magazine along with those I tested beside in Atlanta. Can’t call myself famous yet, but I’m working to it 😉

Really proud to see one of my Ymir featured in the August issue of Knife Magazine!

It’s always a great feeling to see one of my pieces in print, especially alongside the work of so many talented makers.

This Ymir features a stainless Damascus blade, stabilized black ash wood and brass bolsters, a build I really enjoyed making.

A huge thank you to @sharpbycoop for the beautiful photography and for capturing the knife so perfectly. 📸

And of course, thank you Knife Magazine for the feature!

I couldn't let this one go out the door without having a professional @sharpbycoop photo taken. Thanks, Jim. You did an amazing job, as always! As far as the blade, it's a 15.5-inch wrought iron san mai blade. The lang seax is a take-down construction with a slotted brass guard and pommel with brass and copper accents. The handle is hand-carved ancient bog oak. Overall length is 21.5 inches. I thoroughly enjoyed making this seax. I get a lot of joy out of making these. Thank you all for checking it out!
