It's the eve of the 2026 Marbella Championships and this weekend marks @shaunadiamond's 1 year coaching anniversary 🥳

And what a MASSIVE year it's been!!

Shauna had the engine already - she's one of those psychos who LOVES going to that 'dark place' in metcons...

But she struggled to keep up with some of the specific strength and skill work when she came toe to toe with some of the RX females

That strength and skill gap was keeping her in Intermediate, when she KNEW she wanted to mix it in the higher categories...

So instead of watching that gap get bigger, she got in touch and we got to work 🤝

And here is a SMALL list of her gymnastics wins;

1rm Weighted PU; 12.5kg > +20kg
WFHSPU; 0 >12
SHSPU; 1 > 15
Butterfly C2B; 0 > 10's in workouts
HSW 360 pirouettes unlocked ✅
HSW ramps unlocked ✅
30+ unbroken TTB and KHSPU...

And what a better way to celebrate than to use some of these skills this weekend on an RX Team at the Marbella Champs!!

She's gone from HSPU being a big weakness to actually wishing that they'd programmed more 🤣

Shauna was also our AWESOME host at our recent Strength Season training weekend in Westport - and embodies everything that we represent.

She's humble, hard working and is the biggest hype woman for those around her 🫶🏼

And all this progress is merely the tip of the iceberg... there's so much more to come.

Proud coach!!

So if like Shauna used to - you feel STUCK in that gap between Intermediate and RX, and are missing the strength and skills to mix it in the higher divisions

Then DM me the word STRENGTH 📲

Let's chat 🕺

I’m doing CrossFit at 53, what the hell!😂

I’ve been going to the gym, doing classes and CrossFit training just generally trying to keep myself moving. #menopause 🙈

I’m shocked to see what my body can do. Like literally shocked 😂

I’m lifting weights I never thought I’d lift, getting stronger and pushing myself way outside my comfort zone — and I’m so bloody proud of myself for it.

A big thank you to @ShaunaDiamond for the CrossFit coaching, encouragement and for always pushing me to do better.💪💪💪💪 she’s a class act 👍

Still eating the cake though. 🎂 Still drinking the “odd” Guinness. 🍺 Sure look… it’d be rude not to. 😂❤️

There's a type of online coach that I really don't vibe with on IG

You'll probably have noticed them on here too...

Their goal is to 'collect' top athletes to showcase on their feeds

Their social media is exclusively people performing strict ring muscle ups, competing at semi finals, snatching huge weights, doing unreal skills...

It's like they get an ego boost from what their athletes can do... like the success is mirrored onto themselves

And honestly? That's fine

Doing cool shit is COOL. I don't want to take that away from them.

But it's the air of exclusivity and superiority flex that I take issue with.

There's ONE value I care about at Strength Season;

EFFORT.

The effort it takes to get an athlete their first ever TTB. First ever squat snatch. First ever competition.

It matters just as much as that semi finals athlete, or the guy snatching 100kg+, or the girl who can do 10+ muscle ups in a row

And when you're lying on the floor, facing upwards thinking... "wtf has just happened"

It doesn't matter if you're scaled, intermediate, RX or elite

It matters that you put the fucking effort in.

Effort > everything.
