As German air raids devastate London, a serial killer exploits the chaos of wartime Britain, hunting his victims under the cover of darkness. Poster Reveal ✨ Official poster for JĀTI, Sarthwik Bolu’s drama short film. A powerful, affecting story about how the caste system shapes lives, relationships, and professional environments beyond the borders of India.

JĀTI explores the complexities of inter-caste marriage, revealing the emotional turmoil that unfolds when love collides with cultural beliefs. The film examines the struggle for identity and acceptance within families rooted in tradition, shedding light on the consequences of challenging established norms.

My third poster collaboration with Sarth! I’m incredibly happy and grateful of the artistic partnership we’ve built over the past few years. His impactful, poignant, and thought-provoking storytelling continues to inspire me to create work I’m very proud of.

Exactly a week from now, Love Chaos Kin will open its theatrical run in LA. Distribution is broken. We are nervous as hell.

In an era of clickbait and short-form content, making a film over eight years is slow cooking. We invite our LA friends to take a few hours off your busy week to come and spend time with us contemplating Love, Chaos, and Kin—isn't that what life is all about?

We will take you on an adventure on screen, but you'll also find yourself turning inward on life's fundamental questions. Stay back for a Q&A with Vivek Maddala, who graciously scored this film. He saw each participant, the interconnected stories, and somehow brought music in as its connective tissue and emotional voice. We are so grateful to have Jeanine Cowan (USC Screen Scoring Program Chair) moderate our opening night conversation. You are in for a sweet treat.

Psst... there will be a raffle for our merch—a t-shirt, tote, and poster (one piece each)! 🎁🎬 [Check Slide 3]
