● The One Where She Graduates College ●

I'm not one to toot my own horn, but this moment has been a long time coming, soooo TOOT TOOT!!!!

Last Saturday, I graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Texas, and the whole day was oh-so-sweet! For the last ten years, I have worked full time while I chipped away at my degree with the singular intention of graduating debt free & YOUR GIRL DID IT!!!

This journey has been absolutely nothing that I envisioned for myself as a wee babe fresh out of high school, but the experiences that I have had are everything that I never knew I needed. The universe works in mysterious ways; I am so grateful for the lessons that I have been taught in this chapter of my life. I'm bursting at the seams with gratitude!

To all of my friends and family who have supported me every step of the way, from the bottom of my heart, thank you! I am standing where I am today because of the foundation you helped me lay. You mean the world to me.

🙂 Taking some time for self-care and relaxation is important for everyone, including men. One way to do that is by getting a facial. Facials can help to cleanse and exfoliate the skin, leaving it feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. They can also help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, and can even improve the overall tone and texture of the skin. So why not take a little time for yourself and book a facial today? 😎

Confidence doesn’t come out of nowhere. It’s a result of something... hours and days and weeks and years of constant work and dedication. -Roger Staubach

Be mindful who you follow. Some will profess results behind arrogance, not confidence.

Merry merry Christmas, happy new year and happy birthday to my husband! I am personally very excited for this new year- especially because time doesn’t exist LOL .
Remember- the question is not why is there so much evil in the world as much as how can we spread the oasis for our survival . How can we spread love to reach into the darkness and shed light ? I know what you’re thinking. But yes- waxing your coochie hair IS a way I do that for you 😂😂 I am so grateful for @bashfulbeautyco for shaping who I am as a professional esthetician. This career has been such a game changer and as cheesy as it sounds , I really do not feel like I am working. I feel like I am at an on going sleepover ☺️😌☝️

🎊HAPPY NEW YEAR🎉

Myth: To start strength training you have to belong to a gym or buy expensive equipment.

Fact: A gym membership or a set of weights aren’t essential for strength training. Using your own body weight for push-ups, and planks can help you build upper body strength. Squats, lunges and other simple exercises can make your lower body stronger. The American Institute for Cancer Research considers yoga and Pilates to be strength training exercises since they often rely on body weight and resistance to build strength.

Whatever you do to get in shape this New Year, make consistency your number one priority!!
