Get to know a little more about the UALC’s 2026–2027 Marketing team! Hi everyone! My name is Shemi, and I’m a third-year BCom Marketing student and UALC’s VP Marketing! I hope to attend law school after graduation and am especially interested in the intersection of law, business, advocacy, and the creative industries. Outside of school, I’m a poet and filmmaker, love case competitions, and am usually working on some kind of creative project. I’m excited to help showcase everything UALC has to offer and connect with everyone this year! Third-year Accounting student at the University of Alberta, Marketing Director for a University of Alberta club, and External Relations Director for the Business Students’ Association. I also volunteer with the Sustainability Council and love being involved in and giving back to my community. Hi guys, my name is Daphne, and apparently, I’m in my last few classes of uni, but not graduating yet! Fun fact about me is I (allegedly) aspire to be an attorney, but not in my current foreseeable future!! I love doing anything marketing and absolutely love learning new things! People would call me polarizing, and to an extent I agree... Just cool like that.

TICKETS IN BIO🎟️ I am so happy to announce that I have been awarded a grant from @canada.council Born out of the dissonance of who gets to be a person in a society that increasingly labels those who go against the status-quo. A huge thank you to @dearfutureyeg and @audreysbooks for helping bring the release party to life! @pmorcoss 🎥Video by the best of the best Join us October 22nd at 7 PM for poetry readings, keynote speakers, a book signing, and some yummy food! 🤭 🎟️ https://luma.com/8h895u0s The late nights, missed buses to open mics, and classes skipped to write (don’t recommend that last one 😭) have all led here. Having my work recognized nationally means more than words can express. So grateful to be supported alongside incredible Canadian artists. And this is only the beginning. See you on the 22nd 😉, and more… We acknowledge the support of the Canada Council for the Arts. #BringingTheArtsToLife #events #Edmonton #yeg #local

I am incredibly honoured to announce that I have been awarded a grant from @canada.council Born out of the dissonance between creativity, capitalism, and identity, this collection explores how society often reduces human worth to productivity, labels, and social status, particularly for those pushed to its margins. A huge honor to @dearfutureyeg and @audreysbooks for helping bring the release party to life!
