🏀🧡 Khay Kare Self-Care Reminder: Celebrate Your Joy 💚🏀

The Knicks brought the city together, but don’t forget celebrating is self-care too.

Self-care isn’t always quiet moments, yoga mats, or journaling. Sometimes it’s wearing your team’s colors, cheering with your community, dancing in the streets, and sharing a moment of collective joy.

Joy is healing.
Community is healing.
Celebrating milestones is healing.

As we celebrate the Knicks, take a moment to celebrate yourself too, the progress you’ve made, the challenges you’ve overcome, and the victories, big and small, that deserve recognition.

Today, give yourself permission to smile a little bigger, laugh a little louder, and embrace the energy of a city united.

Protect your peace. Celebrate your wins. Honor your joy.

🏀✨ From the court to your heart, wellness includes moments of celebration.

🌿 Thank You for Believing in the Mission 💚

Today marks a meaningful milestone for Art of Kare, Inc.
Because of your encouragement, support, and belief in our vision, we are proud to launch the Khay Kare HBCU Wellness Scholarship, a $500 scholarship dedicated to supporting a student attending a Historically Black College or University who is committed to leadership, community service, and wellness.

This scholarship is more than financial assistance. It's an investment in the next generation of changemakers who understand that caring for ourselves and our communities go hand in hand.

To every person who has attended a wellness event, shared a post, donated, volunteered, collaborated, or spoken words of encouragement, thank you. Your support has helped turn a dream into an opportunity that will continue to impact students for years to come.

At Khay Kare, we believe healing creates leaders, and leaders create stronger communities.

This is only the beginning.

Here's to empowering scholars, honoring the legacy of HBCUs, and creating spaces where wellness is accessible, celebrated, and transformational.

With gratitude,

Khay Kare

Take time to be still. Life is continuously getting busier. Make time to discover YOU. Who are you becoming? What are carrying? Learn to release your emotions. Your body stores your information. Reconnect, learn and honor it. Thank you @riverrise18 for hosting a healing day of Survivance.

🍂 FALL INTO WELLNESS 🍂

Our Fall Into Wellness Day Retreat was a reminder that sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is slow down and simply be.

From guided journaling, resetting with preventative tool to close with a sound mediatition, every part of the day invited us to check in with ourselves and explore what wellness looks like in our own lives. 🌿

There is power in slowing down, checking in, and being intentional about what you want to carry forward and what you’re ready to release.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, opened up, and allowed us to pour into you. 🤎

A beautiful day of reflection, connection, and intentional wellness.

Our three co-facilitators each brought something meaningful to the room sharing our individual practices, perspectives, and pieces of ourselves while creating space for everyone to pause, reflect, and reconnect.

From guided journaling and intention setting, to sound, mindfulness, and meaningful conversation, every part of the day was designed to remind us that wellness can look different for everyone.

Our biggest takeaway? There is power in slowing down, checking in with yourself, and being intentional about what you want to carry forward and what you’re ready to release.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, opened up, and allowed us to pour into you.

Until the next ritual.

Rest isn’t something you have to earn after exhaustion.
It belongs in the process.

It is the pause between becoming.

The breath between what was and what’s next.
The quiet that reminds you, you don’t have to rush to arrive.

Rest belongs in the process, too.

I’m learning to honor the becoming without abandoning myself along the way.

There is a version of you that doesn’t need to be rushed into existence. 🌿

I’m learning to honor the becoming, the quiet growth, the stretching, the shedding, and the becoming of who I’m meant to be.

No rushing.
No forcing.
No comparing.

Just trusting that what is meant for me is unfolding in its own time.

I am becoming, and that is enough.

We talked for 55 minutes… and somehow I got it down to 4 😂
But honestly, this conversation is exactly why I’ve been wanting to host Fall into Wellness. A create a space for conversations like this. Life. Wellness. Motherhood. Business. Friendship. The seasons we’re in. The things we’re learning. We spend so much time pouring into everyone and everything else… but when was the last time you intentionally poured back into yourself? 🍂
That’s what Fall Into Wellness is about. An intentional afternoon to slow down, reconnect, reflect, and give yourself space to simply be. We’ll journal, have meaningful conversations, move through the emotions of the season, experience a sound bath, create, and leave with a few tools to help you care for yourself beyond the afternoon. Because wellness isn't about having it all figured out. Sometimes it’s simply listening to what your mind, body, and soul need in this season.
