Dear Labour Councillors,

Please consider what your Friends of Israel leaders are requesting.

Your first duty is to the constituents who elected you.

Please don't bend to your Friends of Israel leaders when they request you support a colonialist and racist ideology over your constituents.

🎥 About the Films

🚑 Hind Under Siege (2025, 25 Mins)
Dir: Naji Salameh
Fajrona Film | فجرنا للأفلام
Cast: @sofia__asir, @elinaaskar, @dia_harb_

Hind Under Siege depicts the harrowing phone call between the Palestinian Red Crescent and six-year-old Hind Rajab, who was murdered by occupation soldiers in 2024 alongside her uncle, aunt, four cousins and two Red Crescent paramedics. Hind Under Siege was awarded the Jury Award for Best Narrative Short Film at the Gaza International Festival for Women's Cinema in Deir al-Balah in October 2025.

🔑 The Key (2023, 20 Mins)
Dir: Rakan Mayasi
Cast: @salehbakriart, George Ibrahim, Lana Haj Yahia

Based on a story by the Palestinian writer Anwar Hamed from Palestine + 100, The Key shows us an Israeli family in a future version of the occupation, unable to escape the promise of the Palestinian right to return.

📕 VOICES OF RESISTANCE

By @sondos_sabra_, @batool_abu_akleen, @nahilmohana & Ala'a Obaid ✍

Four Gazan women – Batool Abu Akleen, Sondos Sabra, Nahil Mohana and Ala'a Obaid – offer first-hand accounts of Israeli airstrikes, forced displacement and engineered famine, documented alongside the every-day defiance of Palestinians: from the street vendor who donates his last egg for a child’s birthday cake, to the community of displaced people who pool their resources to stage a wedding.
