Wow. Hard to believe that this time last month I was packing my bags for my second ever tour!! ❤️ What a gift it is to gather in theatres and spaces all across the country and simply be in community. And what a gift to meet new friends (YOU) while sharing the stage with old friends! 🫶🏼 From my crew to yours, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for spending a night on tour with us. Your support, your energy, and the memories we made together mean more than you know. 🤗❤️ Btw… Where should I go next?? 👀

This entire weekend was amazing! Yall need to go to the Be Bold for Jesus conference next year...it's so cool to see 10k people, 2200 of which were youth, come together to worship Jesus and learn how to tell others about Him!! All of the people who put this on did fantastic, and I met so many cool people this weekend! All glory goes to God tho cause we're just people and are nothing without Him!

He used to work for Disney, and then left and makes films for Jesus now...it's really neat!

Being away this weekend was uplifting, because the women of God I was honored to be among were truly extraordinary. God is doing a new thing, ladies. Can you now perceive it?

He is raising us up—as women warriors full of HIS mighty power—who understand that we fight by flourishing! And when we are healthy, our families are strong. 💪

I had the special opportunity to meet @candacecbure while she was on tour in Kansas City. The speakers she brought with her well exceeded my expectations and it was honestly such a fun night 🤍

One of my favorite takeaways from Dr. Tabatha (triple board-certified physician) was the invitation to welcome Jesus into our health journeys, too. I spend so much time thinking about training, fueling, and recovery, but making room for stillness and inviting God into that process matters to me, too.

I loved the conversation about simple ways to pause throughout our day: practicing box breathing, taking a moment to pray before a meal, and giving ourselves permission to rest. Little reminders to slow down and be intentional instead of rushing through the next thing. Something I know I need in this season of motherhood and training!

And on a slightly less spiritual note… the highlight of my night was having the opportunity to ask Candace a question during her Q&A. Of course, I had to ask her about her workout routine while she’s on tour! Swipe to the last slide to hear her answer—because I truly cannot believe she looks this incredible at 50. 👏🏼

Grateful for a night that encouraged my faith and reminded me how good it is to make space for connection. 🤍

Some rooms really do pour back into you. 🤍

I walked into An Evening With Candace Cameron Bure excited for a good night, but I left genuinely full.

Candace was so warm, funny, open and intentional with the way she poured into the women in that room. And hearing from Dr. Tabatha about the connection between mind, body and spirit, getting in tune with yourself, your health and what your body is trying to tell you really stuck with me.

And Shelene… whew 😂 her ENERGY. Her passion, humor, faith and the way she tells a story had me locked in. You know when someone speaks and you’re like, yeah, I want to be around more of THAT? That was me.

The whole night felt like laughter, encouragement, testimony, faith, connection and women reminding other women to keep becoming who they’re called to be.

I’m always talking about getting in the room, but this was such a reminder that not every room is about networking or opportunity.

Some rooms are meant to pour back into you.

So grateful I got to experience this one. ✨

God has a way of orchestrating the wildest connections…

I “met” Candace Cameron Bure on Clubhouse during COVID. (Remember that app?)

Fast forward, I was blessed with the opportunity to attend the Chicago tour stop, bring my mom, and meet her IRL.

Perhaps a chapter in a book some day but I’ve personally experienced the compassion and radical generosity of Candace’s lived out faith. And I’m deeply inspired to live with that level of obedience. She’s as real as they come!

Actress, entrepreneur, businesswoman, reality TV star, podcast host… but most of all a courageous follower of Jesus.
