I’ll be the first to admit, staying consistent with church has always been a struggle for me.

But finding a place that welcomes you with open arms, meets you where you’re at, and surrounds you with some solid homies who aren’t afraid to hold you accountable makes a hell of a difference.

Nobody expects you to have life figured out. Just good people who genuinely care about you and want to see you grow.

I’m so grateful for this life — the ups, the downs, the growth, and everything in between.

Some days I feel completely overwhelmed trying to balance everything — work, school, showing up for my friends, my partner, my family, my own goals, and just… life. But then I remind myself that I’m literally overwhelmed with blessings. 🥹

To feel so loved, supported, and surrounded by so many amazing people is something I’ll never take for granted.

I hope everyone’s August was just as amazing as mine. 💕

• Athletes spend months chasing a stage physique, but what we remember most isn’t the trophy, the tan, or the time on stage.

It’s this.

Looking at these photos, I don’t just see support, I see and feel love.

The texts.
The encouragement.
The patience.
The understanding.
The people who show up again and again when life isn’t always easy.

There are days I am tired, emotional, stressed, and completely consumed by my goals. Yet somehow, you all continued to pour into me.

I continue to feel incredibly loved, incredibly blessed, and incredibly grateful everyday. You all hear me say this everyday and I will continue to repeat myself.

I started BJJ @onewaymartialarts about 1 year ago just as a way to get myself active, I was just feeling like I had to do something with my time, so I joined, next thing you know I’m going out to do competitions and started traveling to other states and even out the country to Brazil!!
For something I started just yesterday.
I made so many memories, friends, mentors that I will take with me for life.
White belt was fun but now it’s time to start a new chapter.

💜😈💜😈 Honestly thinking back to the first time I stepped on a BJJ mat I never thought I’d get this far. I’ll leave out the sappy stuff and just say thank you to all my teammates past, present, and future. We all get better together.
