Maybe it was the rain, marathon training, or maybe it was the Twins failing to tell me the plans changed and just forcing me into a race pace. Either way it was a PR and it felt amazing.

9 miles down thanks to the 5:30 white rock long run crew. @jr503 made sure I stayed on pace for the first 6. @drivenby_discipline motivated me to get back out there for two more. @kiki.kamariza talked me into getting 1 more. I really appreciate what all you guys poured into me on this mornings run. 🙏🏾❤️

These three right here… They came into my life at a time when I needed them most, and none of us even realized it. Truthfully, I didn’t know how much I would need them either.

We’ve shared hundreds of miles together the easy ones, the hard ones, and the ones that tested everything we had. Somewhere along the way, they became more than running partners. To me, they’re my real-life Charlie’s Angels.

As we get ready for our this fall training block, I’m grateful knowing there are still so many miles, conversations, laughs, and finish lines ahead.

If you need this reminder today: God has a way of placing the right people in your life at exactly the right time. Trust His timing. The people assigned to your journey will show up when you need them most.

Global Running Day means growth.

Two years ago, I hated running. Today, it’s become one of the greatest gifts in my life. Running has strengthened my mind, body, and faith while introducing me to an incredible community of people.

Every mile reminds me that I can do hard things.
