The things I hear i can’t help sharing..

Since when in recent times is my skin color such a deterrent or yours if you’re dark skinned?

Is that why our men won’t step up to the plate- I think not.

Men are intimidated not solely by color but by women who appear to have -

💰 Their financial house in order

💫 A vision and goal for their future

🗣️ Are articulate and confident

📖 Are highly educated

Who won’t take CRAP and men who have wasted their lives and come calling when they need help or are tired of ‘riotous’ living..

You don’t have to be Single, Seventh Day Adventist or Jewish to appreciate the gift of time with the Sabbath day rest.

You can choose any day to rest from your normal work schedule, hustle and bustle or you can rest on the seventh Day in particular which God gave for an extra blessing of rest, worship and rejuvenation.

Life is better with faith, friends and fun!!

You’re a widow - which could happen through war or old age. That was about it.

God’s mandate at the beginning of creation was, “ It’s not good for man to be alone..” So he created the ideal partner for life.

No doubt the chemistry was amazing’ Words cannot describe that first look because God knew exactly Adam’s desires ( he was just fashioned from God’s incredible dirt and hands 😅)

The Bible speaks of the patriarchs making marriage and families a priority before they died ( Isaac and Rebecca). Naomi understood what was at stake for Ruth and Orpah if they didn’t return to their people.
Although God opened doors and eyes with Boaz and Ruth💙💙.

And Paul encourages that the widows ( not merely singles) and orphans be especially cared for because they would have no automatic male protector in a ‘man’s world’ society.

Then why in the Christian world are there so many adult singles?!

Who is not understanding the assignment ( biblical)?

I feel secure in a Relationship ( when I’m single) born by the confidence of knowing I’m His ☝🏾 child.

Pastor told the saddest story today about the fragility of life with a ‘gone too soon’ young person.

Made me think how every now and then you should do some blitz calls or a social media post, reminding people that you care - no agenda, likes or pats on the back needed. Just a reminder to someone you don’t normally connect with that they’re not alone..
