Ctrl + Shift + C doesn’t work in real life. I checked. 😩 I used to play The Sims to escape my real life. 🎮 In the game, I could fill every need, turn every plumbob green, go broke & be rich again in less than 60 seconds. In real life? My need bars were empty, & I still showed up & posed for the pictures. ✌🏾 Then I got tired of being tired. I told myself the truth. I kept going through the lonely, quiet season, not knowing the small stuff was counting. Now my plumbob is green. Not every single day, but more often than not. 💚 Still no cheat code (I wish!). Just grace, obedience & telling myself yes. I stopped escaping into a life I could control & started building one I don’t want to escape from. Still building, but proud of who I’m becoming. What color is your plumbob right now, Builder? 👇🏾 🔴🟠🟡🟢

Here’s what sharing my rebuild story with you all is teaching me in real time: 1) Shame is louder in silence than it is when you say it out loud. 2) “Having it all together,” is not a requirement for helping someone. I thought I had to be finished building before I could be useful. Turns out, I don’t. 3) My testimony isn’t tea, it’s a tool. I wasn’t protecting my peace by hiding it, I was protecting my image. Those aren’t the same thing. I’m learning to trust God with the parts I wanted to control. Builders, I wanna know—what have you been calling ‘tea’ that’s actually your testimony? You don’t have to go into great detail, just tell me something REAL. 🫖

I’m Yani. I’m a newlywed , a first time mom, & the founder of SHE Rebuilds. I’m not an expert on ANY of this stuff. I’m just turning my mess into your map. 🗺️ Two years ago I was avoiding my credit score altogether. Now I’m up over 100 points & want to teach you how to do the same with no perfect budget, no fancy strategy, just consistency & baby steps that count. If you’re a woman rebuilding your credit, your faith, or your peace… this is your sign to stop hiding. We all make mistakes, but it’s time we start facing them. 📌 Follow @sherebuildshq for real credit rebuilding tips, faith + finance content, & weekly encouragement for women doing the work. #faithandfinances #creditrebuild #debtfreejourney #sherebuilds

I am often asked if I create my minimalist portraits using an app. I wish it was that simple, but the end result is always worth the hours of clicking & dragging that goes into creating these. Here’s a tiny sneak peak at the design process & how they can be used MULTIPLE ways. These are currently my favorite type of digital pieces to create. I’d love to create one for you too! You can follow @fromthedeskofyani to see my other pieces. This is the beautiful @samaje BTW. She is a branding expert at @samajemarketingandbranding. Make sure you follow her & check out her content and services! Thank-you again for your business queen! 🫅🏾🤎 - #blackgirlmagic #graphicdesign #digitalart #etsyseller #minimalist #supportsmallbusiness #supportblackbusiness #supportblackart #digitalcreator
