Day 24- Mind En Pointe! Was grateful to spend the afternoon with Sheridan and speak on a panel educating parents and dancers on the importance of mental health! Mind En Pointe is an AMAZING event creating a safe space for athletes to discuss their mental health. I truly believe every single athlete of high performance participant needs to have that safe space. So cool to see and I am so thankful I get to have a job where it allows me to do things like this! Keep talking about mental health, keep being kind, and continue to take care of YOU! May just keeps getting better and better! Calling the Middle Tennessee Dance Community,

Mind en Pointe is an upcoming mental health event created specifically for dancers ages 11-18, parents, and dance teachers.

Behind the scenes, many dancers are navigating pressure, comparisons, perfectionism, and injury. These experiences often go unspoken, preventing dancers from processing what they are going through.

Mind en Pointe was created to change that.
This event offers a structured, supportive space for dancers to explore the mental and emotional aspects of their training through guided reflection and connection. Parents and coaches will also be provided with a supportive space to discuss their athletes’ mental health needs.

This event is a safe space designed for conversation, growth, and understanding within the dance community.

I’ve been working on something special for you.

Not every dancer is struggling with technique. Some dancers are struggling with pressure, comparison, perfectionism, and injuries all without a safe space to discuss it.

So, I introduce to you Mind en Pointe, a mental health event created specifically for dancers of all levels, ages 11–18, with parents and coaches welcome.

This isn’t therapy. This isn’t a lecture. This is a safe space.
