Were you wondering what our construction trips are like? This is Francisco sharing how he spent his first week as a volunteer on the construction site.

We offer different types of experiences: if you enjoy hands-on work helping build schools, this is the perfect opportunity. For those who prefer spending more time with our senior students during graduation week and exploring different parts of the country, check out our July program. This year, we are also working on new types of trips!

If you’re interested in joining one of our future trips, visit our website to sign up. See you in Honduras! 🌍✨

Meet Andrea from Virginia Tech University, who joined us for the second time during our January Winter Trip! 🎉

She spent an unforgettable week in Villa Soleada, working alongside our masons to help build the foundation for the new roof of the multi-use sports field, reconnecting with friends she made last year, and exploring new experiences like visiting downtown El Progreso and its scenic viewpoint.

Want to be part of moments like these? Join us on one of our upcoming trips and experience it for yourself! 🌍✨

Week 2 of our Winter Trip 2026 captured what intentional teamwork looks like. During the first week of January, we welcomed volunteers from @shhvt , @otsatuh , and @1000schoolsumd who actively contributed to meaningful campus improvements at Villa Soleada Bilingual School. From trench work for the multi-sports court to hands-on activities across the school, every effort moved the project forward and reinforced our shared commitment to long-term impact. This is how progress is built, through presence, purpose, and consistent action.

Student Translators play an essential role in every volunteer trip.

They are the link that allows volunteers to engage fully with the community, navigate daily interactions, and work side by side with local teams without language being a barrier.

If you feel ready to volunteer but don’t speak Spanish, you’re not alone. Join one of our volunteer trips! Our student translators will be there, ready to welcome you, bridge cultures, and build lasting friendships🤝
