The village is a concept that we used to live in and one we’ve moved so far from.

The village is what nature designed for us to live within so that we could be held when times are tough and celebrated when times are good

We all need that support, but we get scared to ask for it

We all want to be seen, we all want to be heard and accepted for the gifts we have to offer.

But we have become afraid to ask
We’ve become afraid to be seen.
We have become afraid that the people around us are scary and are going to hurt us or our children

We need to come back to listening to our own heart and our own intuition so that it can guide us to making healthier relationships with our neighbors, our family, and our friends.

Reach out
Meet your neighbor
Talk to them
Listen to them
Get to know them

Reach out to your friends to your family
They might not know what you need, but waiting for you to share

The more we do these things, fear, dissipates, poor behavior, dissipates and connection begins to happen again.

It’s time to start trusting again. Let’s show our children what it looks like to follow our natural pull toward each other.

When you get support your children get support. Let’s help them flourish and create a future that is beyond our comprehension. Let’s do it together.

This is a busy day!
He read , I cleaned and there’s more greatness to come… without screaming, yelling, punishing or push back.

Yes, I do it differently.
Why?
I want to be happy
I want a happy kid
I want a great relationship
I don’t want to lose his trust
I don’t want to but I to old beliefs about who he is and how I should treat him.
I don’t want him to have to go to therapy later in life.

Let’s break the patterns.
Let’s build a new legacy.
Let’s enjoy this ride… together!!

I know… my sunglasses are large and crooked 🤣

But I got several jobs done and I feel good!!

As a Coach with a Clinical Psycgology and Trauma based practice…

I “choose” to listen to my clients and apply what we learn together to life and parenting.
I “choose” to break old cycles and patterns that I know don’t work.
I “choose” to live lufe from what I have learned and not what has been conditioned into me.

As a parent…
I “choose” not to struggle and fight.
I “choose” to treat ny teenager like a person and not an object.
I “ choose” to invite in not demand.

As a woman…
I “choose” happiness, ease and connection.
I “choose” what to keep and what to let go of everyday based on how it made me feel.
I “choose” to live my life and not allow life to live me.

Us parents… Got it rough!
Because we try and we try and we try
And keep getting the same results

It’s hard to absorb a different way of doing things when we so subconsciously just keep re-creating the things that we just don’t want to experience any longer.

We have to pause… Notice how we speak, what we say, the tone we use, and the look on the our child’s face and response.

And next… We look at the behavior that we then get afterwards.

Is it the behavior that we would like to see?
If not… Would you be willing to try a different way?

it’s simple shifts that create infinite possibilities.

Yes, I believe a successful woman is someone who is growing her financial abundance and creating greater opportunities for herself and her family.

And…

I believe a successful woman is also someone who is willing to look honestly at her parenting

She notices the patterns that create connection
She notices the patterns that create distance
She celebrates what is working
She grows where she wants something different

The women I admire most are passionate about raising good humans

They want their children to be
They want their children to be
They want their children to contribute to the world and meaningful way

Success is what we build in our bank account
Success is also what we build in our relationships

Both matter

Both create a legacy

What does success mean to you?

I am participating in a 40 day challenge, and it has me thinking deeply about why I do the work that I do.

Over the years, I’ve gathered tools, insights, and experience that I know create meaningful change. I’ve watched parents strength and relationships with their children, I’ve seen people reconnect with themselves, find greater peace, and create more love in their homes.

The question I’ve been sitting with, however, is this:

How do I share these ideas in a way that helps people truly feel seen, heard, accepted, and understood?

Because informational loan does not change lives.

Connection does.

When people feel safe enough to be themselves, they become curious. They become open. They discover possibilities they may not have seen before.

That’s the heart behind this challenge for me.

To continue growing.
To continue learning.
To continue finding ways to share what I know in a way that feels human, practical, and deeply connected.

If you’re on a journey of creating more love, connection, and understanding in your life or family, I’m glad you’re here

I hope you join me on this journey and together we will grow!

Come follow along

BTW… Don’t mind all the font weird things that I did on this video I’m just experimenting. It will get better!

Most parents were taught to react to their child’s behavior.

Why?

Because that’s how we were parented

Our behavior was correct
Fixed
Shut down

But our behavior is just like our children’s behaviors generally were rooted in a coordinate

To be heard
To be seen
To be accepted
To be understood

As parents, when we can start to see that… Everything begins to shift not just for them, but for us too

When we can meet our children in the present moment, when we can…

Listen
Observe
Validate
Empathize

True connection begins
Our child feels met and and loved
And we do too

It’s not about doing more
It’s about meeting what matters

Parent with connection
Lead with love ❤️

Your child is not the real trigger

It’s the need underneath the moment and how familiar that feels in your body

To be heard
To be seen
To be accepted
To be understood

When those needs were not fully met… They did not leave you, they got buried within you. In your nervous system, in your reactions, in how you experience connection.

So when your child expresses that need, it can feel like too much, too loud, too overwhelming.

Not because your child is too much
But because something inside of you remembers what was once not met within you… and it still hurts.

But… This awareness is where everything begins to shift.

Not by controlling behavior
By understanding, what’s underneath it ❤️

There are four emotional needs every human carries:

To be heard
To be seen
To be accepted
To be understood

We do not grow out out of these… We grow up still carrying them

And when they were not fully met… They do not disappear

Instead, they become the places we feel the most needy… in our most important relationships.

This is why small moments can feel big
Why we keep wanting more
Why we can feel so empty and disconnected

Not because we are too much, but because something meaningful matters

When you begin to understand, these needs, you begin to see everything different differently

And that’s where the shift begins ❤️
