This was yesterday's #MemorialDay workout !!!
Today I shall get it innnn as welll!! I definitely had a mirror 🪞experience the 2nd half of this 1Month challenge . It was an imbalance when it came to getting my workouts in daily. My objective to put me first, even though that has been my thirsting since I can remember had slightly faded but What I love about myself is I don't quit the task and this right hereeee it's a lifestyle change. IT'S what I waaaaaaant! So Ima get MIIINE. I'm loving the determination that's growing in me. It looks good on me. And it's spilling into other areas in my life in a major way.! Trust the process. CHECKING IN : I’ve had some really profound conversations lately and have also decided to seek and find a therapist these past months. This therapist has been asking questions that I deserve to be asked. That no one else bothered to be patient enough to ask me. Shoot, questions that I have not even asked myself. I’ve been forced to confront myself front on about my ways of thinking and how my 20 something year old ways of thinking WILL NOT not serve me at 33. This has been a real #SHIFTIT moment. Where I have to lean on God’s word when it says, Be not conformed to the world but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of my mind. Where is says “I am a new creature in Christ. OLD THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY AND BEHOLD ALL THINGS WILL BECOME NEW”.

When I began to grieve the old things. The should’ve, would’ve, could’ve thoughts. Grieve the old me, how I moved and carried myself. When I really had to take a look in the mirror at my heart and realize I needed to repent for having idols, holding people and things higher then I was lifting up the name of Jesus. That’s the gruesome work….. Realizing the apprehensive feelings when I am around people may be the very thing hindering me from pursuing full time ministry…. I have started acknowledging that it’s apart of the process of REFINEMENT. The end goal is to be God’s reflection again. So, I will go through the suffering this time. I NEEEEED to hear “Well done, my good & faithful servant”.
This life is NOT A GAME.

I must not resist the pain this go around but go through it and pray through it and read God’s word through it and worship through it and work through it and mother through it and serve through and press through and fast through it and write through it and create through it and BREATHE through it.

I encourage my soldiers to do the last thing God has been reminding and instructing you to do. Start from there and just DO IT like @nike
