Incredible pictures from the calm before the storm at Artifacts by @andyisyu . It’s been one week since my first ever glass show Artifacts at parlay central @parlayphl and my heart is filled with gratitude. Thank you everyone for coming by, enjoying the work and immersing yourselves in the glass and projection mapping done by @whos_boro . Couldn’t be more happy with how well he did and how the vision came to reality. Every little detail was perfect and it truly is invigorating looking to the future with new ideas I came up with along the process of putting this all together. I truly put my heart and soul into every aspect of this and I seriously couldn’t be happier with how everything went. Big thanks to @kindaglass for creating such an amazing event and allowing us to do our thing on stage at ukie club, without him none of this would have been possible. Also ultimate gratitude to my brothers @shiftn.shapes and @whos_boro for also making this possible and all collaborators involved. Gonna keep the train rolling of documenting and posting all the pieces from the show so be on the lookout.

Caught @sunyaglass putting some serious love into his entry for one of the @parlayphl shows, with @shiftn.shapes lending a hand and some @sunya_music on the soundtrack 🔥🙌

Man, watching the homies push themselves and help each other bring these ideas to life gets me so fired up. There’s so much happening between the hands, the heat, and those little moments where everyone has to move together. Teamwork makes the dream work ❤️

So grateful I got to hang and catch a little of the process. Go take a closer look at his world of FUNctional glass if that’s your kind of thing—he’s got a style all his own, and it’s been a treat seeing it in person.

Great meeting you, brotha. Hope you enjoy this little glimpse of yourself doing your thing. Excited to see where you take it next! 🤙

If you’re observant, you can see that her hair wrap is much lower in the after pic! Well that’s cuz he was a little Congo dude before but the root wasn’t particularly stable enough to hold the weight, so we chopped that part off and added it back in as an ‘extension’ on one of her shorter dreadys. Sometime ya gota improvise!!

We also added in a little blue wisp ‘pop of color’ extension for funsies 🙃

And of course some new beads!! (Glass by @shiftn.shapes .Wood by @life_vibration_ )

Trimmed up and cleaned up 👌🏻
(We were even able to save her wraps after the trim with a little mindful cutting!)

My beautiful client Stacey made the trip down from North Georgia, and as always, creating art with her was an absolute blast! ✨🌿

Stacey already had a gorgeous set of dreadlocks, but she was ready for just a little more length, a little more volume, and a little more WOW. So that’s exactly what we created!

We added several inches of length with stunning wavy ends, incorporated pops of color for extra dimension, and left a few blonde pieces ready for her next adventure. Right now she’s torn between a vibrant pink or going all-in with purple, and honestly, I can’t wait to see what she chooses! 💜🩷

To finish the look, we leaned fully into her free-spirited boho vibe by decorating her locs with beautiful vines, handcrafted glass beads, and gorgeous macramé accents. The result is whimsical, earthy, artistic, and uniquely Stacey.

A huge thank you to the talented artists behind these beautiful accessories—I will be tagging them below so you can check out their amazing work! 🤍

Days like this remind me why I love what I do. Getting to collaborate with incredible women, bring their vision to life, and create something completely unique is such a gift.

Love you, Stacey! Until our next creative adventure. ✨🌿
