Caius and Alycia, non-angsty version. Look at how cute and happy they are together 🥹 Art by @shinkomiii

Meet Alyvia and Caius, a human princess and a vampire king that are arranged to marry to mutually benefit each other’s kingdom — though really, if I remember correctly, Alyvia’s kingdom benefits more because Caius wants to help them from the threat posed by rogue radical vampires. At first, Alyvia doesn’t know Caius is a vampire. She finds everything in his home and kingdom strange, especially the people. She thinks that Caius does not truly like her or find her attractive, but he’s never unkind towards her. He just keeps his distance. Eventually, the two become close to each other, especially once she learns just who and what she married. This is probably the most angsty piece I’ve commissioned so far and absolutely one of my favorites. I may be saying that about every piece…but this one…I have it as my laptop wallpaper after having my wallpaper be the default one. It makes me happy every time I open up my laptop, it’s so gorgeous. I am in love with this style. I enjoyed working with @shinkomiii on the pieces she did of Caius and Alyvia (there’s one more I’m going to post!). She was so sweet and made sure everything was as my friend and I liked it! I look forward to future commissions with her and fear she’ll be sick of my name in her queue 🤣

Hi! My name is Laurel and I am putting together a small Siuaraine fanzine to not only celebrate this beautiful couple that deserved happiness, but to also raise money for the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund.  This zine will feature fanart and fanfic from some of the amazing and writers in the fishwives fandom. This is just an interest check right now to see how many people might genuinely be interested in a printed copy, so I can figure out a realistic print run. If there’s enough interest, I’ll move forward with preorders afterward. This idea was inspired by @mocong.yuan after she did her recent Siuaraine zine to raise funds for charity, and with her blessing, I wanted to do something similar. It’s been over a year since the show ended, and I thought it would be nice to have a celebration of the fishwives, as I know this couple means a lot to a good number of us. This is just an interest check right now to see how many people might genuinely be interested in a printed copy, so I can figure out a realistic print run. If there’s enough interest, I’ll move forward with preorders afterward. Just to be transparent: this zine is not for profit. All sales will first go toward covering production and fulfillment costs, then contributor copies will be sent out, and anything remaining will be donated to the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund. No mods (me) or contributors will be paid beyond their contributor copies. If you’re interested in purchasing a copy, please fill out the form in the link in my bio. Your response will really help me with planning! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out via DM! Thank you so much for your support! #Siuaraine #Siuanraine #WheelOfTime #WLW

This was the first scene that I dreamt of. My inspiration comes to me in my dreams, at least the majority of the time. And I dreamt of this over and over again until I had to sit down and write the scene. At that point, I already knew the names of the main characters, Aaron & Maya. For the one-year anniversary (ONLY THREE DAYS!!), I knew that I wanted this highly emotional scene and that I wanted the super talented @shinkomiii to illustrate this scene in comic style. I had the loveliest time working together. The talent is clearly impressive and the character’s emotions break through the screen 🌿 BENT RIGHT TO YOUR WIND 🌿 AARON: 🫀 Second Oldest In The Willow Clan 🫦 Has Been Pinning For Years 🤵 Is Married To His Academic Nemesis 🐕 Golden Retriever 💍 His Achilles Heel Is His Academic Rival / Now Wife MAYA: 🌹 Only Child Of The Avery’s ♥️ Famous Lawyer 👰‍♀️ Acts Like She Hates Everyone But Has The Softest Spot For Aaron 🐈‍⬛ Black Cat 🏆 Black Sheep Of Her Hometown Turn Into Prodigal Daughter Aaron Willow and Maya Amery’s story began with a book in a park, a budding friendship between a golden-hearted boy and a jaded, independent girl. But what started as an innocent connection soon turned into something deeper—and more complicated—when a betrayal disrupted their lives. Setting them on a path of academic competition, with each pushing the other to their limits while keeping buried feelings at bay. Years later, Aaron and Maya are married, but the love that once bound them is now strained under the weight of the past. Nearly a decade into marriage, they’re confronted by a painful reminder of that old betrayal—a wound neither of them caused, yet one that reshaped their lives and relationship forever. As the story unfolds through dual timelines, we see Aaron and Maya’s journey from friends to rivals to lovers, and finally, to a couple fighting for their love against the scars of the past. Can they rediscover the magic they once shared, or will the shadows of yesterday prove too strong to overcome? A tale of love, rivalry, and resilience, where each chapter alternates between the innocence of youth and the trials of a marriage in peril.
