Ok, I’ve not gone wild just yet but I did dance, actually enjoyed a full hot tea, ordered myself a meal, and finally updated my website home page and I am pinching myself 🥹

Apparently I have a ‘good camera’ 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sure thanks uncle Bob. Iykyk

But for real, watch that video and tell me you just saw the most rad humans pass your eyes! The most amazing gorgeous baddies ever!!!🥹🥹🥹

Each one a total legend! ✨

I may not be the busiest photographer but I know that I’m the most lucky to have such radiant humans step in front of my lens.🫶🫶🫶

Gratitude doesn’t even come close to expressing myself 💋💋💋

And yes I was listening to @thieverycorporation but couldn’t find the matching track here, this classic never disappoints

Now go play Where’s Waldo and tag someone because u was only allowed to tag someone as I was limited to tag them all - might even yourself! - in the comments!

Oh and I forgot to ask, whose next 🥰🥰🥰

@debbi.yc_makeup.art 💋💋💋

#vancouverphotographer #studiophotographer #vancouverportraitphotographer #tealovers

PS: you really should head to my site to see these baddies in their full bodacious glory!

pps: pop my podcast on while taking a peek 💋💃

2026 Presentation Series:

Cobalt by @shionskye
Thursday, November 19 + Friday, November 20 | 7pm
Open Space (510 Fort St)
$40, $25, $20, or $10

Cobalt reflects a bold lusciousness craved in a queer body at odds with the rigid expectations of a Japanese upbringing. Traversing aesthetic minimalism, gentle provocation, and oscillating portraits of identity, Cobalt is an intimate, vibrant solo work that can strike a chord with anyone on a journey of radical self-acceptance.

Presented in a Double Bill.

Tickets & more info at www.impulsetheatre.ca/presentation-series

The lower two thirds of the poster contain an image of the back of Shion Skye Carter’s head and shoulders facing a distressed wall. They have shaved dark hair and are wearing a cobalt blue jacket and knit hat. Their face looking downwards to the right, with their left hand placed flat on the wall above their head.
