POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Apparently I am the most publicly private person around. Thousands of photos. Hundreds of connections. Dozens of projects, and you still don’t know who I am? I’m so sorry, let me fix that.

My newest blog post is up! Featuring incredible photography by @shirleysheung of me in my realest form. Today I wanted to share some thoughts on many things.

What can I say? I love a good photo.

And I know some pretty cool photographers:
@jay.photography.nyc @shirleysheung @thetophertography @maliksteelecreativity

And some amazing content creators:
@diorgirl17 @lifeinmadeleind

Some people tell me that I seem like a natural in front of a lens… personally, it took me many years to make it seem easy. Anyone who’s been in my life for more than six years, knows that I had to build up the confidence that I have today.

Our first Femme Foto Studio Social was everything we hoped it would be. 💫📸

We transformed @blondeandconyc into three professional lighting setups - Beauty, Lifestyle, and Natural Light - giving attendees the chance to create, experiment, and learn in a hands-on environment.

A huge thank you to @fotocarenyc for providing all of our lighting equipment and to @fujifilmx_us for bringing a fully stocked camera bar with Fujifilm bodies and lenses for everyone to borrow and experience throughout the day.

Special shoutout to @jaymasonphoto for leading an incredible beauty lighting demo, where attendees learned how to build a four-light setup, asked questions in real time, and photographed our amazing models. And thank you to @kaylahsambo for bringing her stunning hand-painted pink and blue backdrops that made every portrait pop. And for @lottiegra for leading the camera bar check outs! 📸

What made the day so special wasn’t just the gear - it was the community. Watching photographers network, collaborate, try new Fujifilm cameras, experiment with lighting, and genuinely learn from one another was exactly why we created this event.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our very first Studio Social such a success. 💛

Femme Foto is a community created for women, femme-identifying, trans, and nonbinary photographers and creatives. We can’t wait to create more spaces where we can learn, connect, and grow together.

See you at the next one. ✨

Last summer, I taught the first Essence Over Pose workshop and watched photographers start seeing their subjects differently.

Less focus on perfect poses.
More focus on movement, connection, and the in-between.

This July, I'll be bringing the workshop to Germany! We'll spend the day exploring how to build that trust, create images that feel natural, emotive, and alive without relying on complex setups or endless lists of poses.

Half the workshop has already been filled through early access and I have just 3 spots remaining, along with 1 private portrait session add-on!

If youve been wanting to learn with me in person, already in/near Europe, unable to travel to the USA, or an excuse to combine travel and education, I'd love to have you join us! 🖤🖤

Another year, another year…

To say it was a rollercoaster of emotions, growth, endings & beginnings is an understatement.
But every single thing that took place was exactly what was meant to happen in order to continue alignment in my journey.
I’m grateful to every single person who was in my corner, helped celebrate my wins and comfort my losses.
I welcomed 2 new kittens into my life that have brought me so much joy and cuddles.

The year ended with enormous loss for me, my family and those who knew & loved my big bro. There is a hole in my heart.

To 2026, I’m ready for you, all the abundance, love, and continued growth you have for me ✨

Our current foster Tennessee is looking for a temporary foster over the holidays while we are out of town. If you know anyone who’d be interested in hosting this sweetie pie from December 23-31, please message me! She is litter box trained and very affectionate. She loves to play and loves treats (who doesn’t?!) 🎄

🐈 // Tennessee is available for adoption through link in bio
