@kansascitybooksellers hosted their 3rd annual Kansas City Book Crawl this weekend, and a time was had!  One of my BINGO goals this year is to visit eighteen different indie bookstores and after this weekend, I'm one step closer to checking it off the list. ✅ The first pic is all of the books we left with. 🤓😍 We spent around $35 for all of these beauts! Most of them are now in the misters classroom. He's a first time HS teacher this year and wanted to have some books for his students to choose from. 📚 Some of the places we stopped by were: 📚 @underthecoverkc - I don't read much romance, but I love this spot for its vibes. I always feel welcome and enjoy perusing the books, book marks, and other romance gadgets they have! 📚 @phillinthelove found our bliss @blissbooksandwinekc . It's a Black, woman owned bookstore that I stop at any chance I get. ☕ We had to stop by @goodkarmacoffee_ for a quick coffee, and it didn't disappoint! 📚 @shop7stories is probablyyyyy my favorite bookstore in the KC area. I'm MIND BLOWN that a high schooler owns it. 🤯 The diversity of genres and authors always impressed me. 📚 This was my first time at @gildedpagebookstore & it won't be my last! It was small space with a moody vibe and really dope spaces to sit and read OR play games (like D+D). 📚 We also stopped at @thebookclubkc, @monsterasbooks, and Friends of Johnson County Book Nook! All in all I'd say it was a success. Of the books that we left with, are there any you've read and loved?
