We appreciate all the incredible partners that made this event possible. So grateful to our AAHNPI non-profit organization partners @heartofdinner and @sakhinyc for bringing in fun DIY activities. Special thanks to @lilys.treatsnyc for organizing and @smith.parka @nijapanese for participating in our prize program.

And lastly a huge shout out to all the artisan entrepreneurs who joined us. 15% of their sales were donated to local AAHNPI non-profit organizations. We couldn’t have done this without you!

These markets are community-based events designed to bring together the amazing local artisans in our city. 100% of the artists who participate do their business without a brick & mortar… trust us when we tell you: you don’t wanna miss the chance to see their beautiful wares in person! Thank you so much to everyone who came out to celebrate Winter Solstice with us at our holiday market this past December!!! This was such a special lineup, with all of our lovely vendors bringing 100% entirely handmade wares. We loved being able to help promote the spirit of sustainability + repurposed crafting with this market’s theme, and were lucky enough to share that spirit with y’all too through our handmade gifts/holiday card making/gift wrapping station! Thank you so much to the wonderful @boyfriendcoop for hosting us in their beautiful space, and thank you to our talented vendors and hardworking event team who made this all happen! And of course, thank YOU for joining us and showing up to directly support your local lesbian artists! These events could not be possible with your support….. we hope everyone enjoyed themselves at this market, got plenty of goodies (whether it be gifts for yourself, or gifts for others!), and are ready for our next market on 2/14 at @lgbtbrooklyn!! Our lesbian marketplace is back for the winter!!! Looking for a last minute gift? Want to pick up a treat for yourself? Lavender Market’s Winter Solstice themed holiday market has you covered!!! Complete with 16 INCREDIBLE vendors, a free gift wrapping station, free community crafts, free resources/goodies, raffles/giveaways, and of course wonderful drinks and snacks by @boyfriendcoop… it is sure to be the event of the season! Swing by @boyfriendcoop any time between 11AM and 5PM on December 21st for a chance to shop the coolest local lesbian vendors, do some crafts, and make new friends + support your local lesbian community! As always, masks (KN95 or better) will be both provided and required to ensure we are doing what we can to keep our community safe. This event is 18+ and FREE, but please make sure you RSVP so we can get an estimated headcount for our craft + freebies table!
