Year 5 was one for the📚‼️This was a huge milestone year for us and we are so grateful for all those who showed up to make this day a success! It takes a lot to put something like this together so we want to express our gratitude to all those who made this day possible from our speakers, to our vendors, to our partners, sponsors, and our team, we are thankful for you all. And thank you to @wallo267 who pulled up from Philly to shutdown the stage. We appreciate every individual that weathered the storm to be @_thebronxsummit! None of this exists without you. Incredibly honored to be hosting “Dave’s Corner” at the upcoming @fujifilmx_us FUJIKINA NYC 2026 photo expo October 16-18th in the heart of the Lower East Side, NYC.

FUJIKINA NYC 2026 is a MASSIVE 3 day event celebrating 200 years of photography, with 100+ activations across 9 venues hosting talks, photowalks and activities from some of the very best in the industry.

I will be in the Community Gallery (at Hashimoto Gallery), 54 Ludlow St for all 3 days hosting conversations with some truly incredible people / photographers surrounded by large prints selected by community members of what the concept of “inheritance” means (honored to have had one of my images included amongst this talented bunch).

I’ll also be leading a discussion on what the world’s first ever photo, taken in 1826, can teach us about photography craft and practice 200 years later.

If you want to know how to improve your craft, connect with the community, be (and stay) inspired, work as a professional, or simply better understand the craft and YOUR photographic legacy, you can’t miss this one. Be sure to come through and see me at the Community Gallery!

That's the Community Enterprise Accelerator (@CEA_Bronx), a Bronx-based nonprofit fellowship that gives established Bronx entrepreneurs grant funding, coaching, and connections to grow their businesses.

@FromTheBronx is wrapping its fellowship this month as part of Cohort 3 alongside @Monshe.Life, @LR2Studio, @TereseSydonna, and @PinStripeIT. Weekly coaching, mastermind sessions with the other fellows, mentors from M&T Bank and @nypacentrepreneurs, and monthly events with the people who actually move things in The Bronx. It's the kind of support small Bronx businesses usually have to pay someone for.

Cohort 4 applications have been extended to September 14.

You're eligible if you:
💥 Own a for-profit business operating primarily in The Bronx
💥 Have been in business at least one year
💥 Have done over $75K in total sales

One of the highlights of last weekend was discovering @shottinyc was the owner of the studio my client booked for her photo shoot. It felt so good to see a familiar face that day!
