It was such a pleasure meeting Artur Chmielewski, a Polish engineer and project manager at @nasajpl ! 🇵🇱🚀

From working on missions like Galileo and Rosetta to developing inflatable technologies for space, his career is incredibly inspiring.

I was especially happy to share some of the work we’re doing at the @uhengineering and @sicsa.uh for future lunar missions.

Thank you, Artur, for the great conversation and for sharing your experience!

🇵🇱
To była ogromna przyjemność spotkać @chmielewskiart , polskiego inżyniera i project managera w NASA JPL! 🚀

Somewhere between architecture and space, I found my place 🚀❤️

(One of the books that helped me understand the fundamentals orbital mechanics, spacecraft systems and spaceflight ❤️)

Sky is… the beginning! 🚀✨
🇵🇱 Jakbym miała wybrać jedną rzecz, którą warto zapamiętać z mojego TEDx talk, to chyba właśnie tę:

„Rejection is redirection.”

🇺🇸 If there’s one thing worth remembering from my TEDx talk, it’s probably this:

“Rejection is redirection.”

Sometimes rejection or failure does not stop us, but instead leads us toward something better or more meant for us.

Thank you #TEDxWSKZ and everyone who listened to my story.

Here's a quick dive into NASA’s TransHab concept—where soft, inflatable structures meet cutting-edge engineering to create lighter, stronger living spaces beyond Earth.

Future homes in space might look nothing like metal boxes… and everything like this.

Last week, I had the pleasure and honor of returning to the space city: Houston, TX. It was an opportunity to see friends and colleagues, but also a moment of personal growth.

I took part in the Earth & Space 2026 Biennial, organized by the American Society for Civil Engineers (ASCE) - Aerospace Division, and sponsored by SICSA. On that occasion, in addition to meeting wonderful people 'orbiting' in the space sector, I had the opportunity to present my ongoing research and be selected as a finalist!

Despite the final outcome, as Chair Dr. Goldberg also stated, it was an honor to have achieved this result.
What else to say? Howdy!

Earth & Space Conference by the American Society of Civil Engineers.

This week gave me a better understanding of what it really takes to build for the Moon. We talked about life support systems, infrastructure, and how to actually support human life in a harsh lunar environment.

What I found most interesting was seeing how companies and universities are already working on these problems and trying to make it happen.

It was also exciting to learn more about the upcoming Texas A&M Space Institute that is being developed here in Houston and NASA’s plans to return to the Moon.

And one of the best parts — meeting other Polish professionals working in the space industry and academia across Poland, Canada, and the US.

Last week, our @universityofhouston student researchers and faculty visited @intuitivemachines as part of our NASA MIRO IDEAS² work.

Learning directly from industry experts is just as important as learning in the lab. This visit helped our team better understand lunar transportation systems and how inflatable and deployable structures could support future lunar missions.

Huge thanks to the Intuitive Machines team for the tour and the LTV simulation!

What I love most about space conferences is seeing familiar faces and making new connections! It's the perfect place to exchange ideas, learn from each other, and reunite after time apart. This year's IAC was incredible! So inspiring, and so many amazing memories!

Still can’t get over how amazing this week at IAC 2025 was!

I presented our lunar habitat research, met old friends, made new ones, and had so many inspiring conversations about the future of space exploration!

Last week I presented our project “Establishing a Permanent Lunar Presence Through Habitat Class Evolution” at IAC 2025 in Sydney!

The study was initiated by NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center and developed with my amazing teammates Miranda Peters, @alexander.bahrim , and @justin.baileyyy at the @universityofhouston @sicsa.uh , under the mentorship of Dr. Olga Bannova and Larry Toups.

Our research explores how lunar habitats can evolve from short-term outposts to permanent, self-sustaining settlements. We proposed a phased framework defining clear entrance and exit criteria across key systems such as power, robotics, ECLSS and EVA, providing a roadmap for sustainable lunar base development.

Thank you to the @rafalbrzoska_foundation and University of Houston for supporting my journey!

#CullenCollege students and faculty alike made a stellar impact at the Italian Research Day at the World 2025 symposium.

Marzia Cescon (MAE) & Vittorio Netti (Space Architecture) were invited to address attendees with a key note speech showcasing groundbreaking research in cyber-physical systems and XR in space habitat design!

🧠 We're also incredibly proud of the UH graduate students and postdocs who showcased their work in the poster competition. Special shoutout to Olga Bannova (Director, Space Architecture Graduate Program), Marzia Cescon, and Prof. Netti for serving as poster judges.
