Tonight, Sip with Schnip from 6-9pm in @poativywild! We’re welcoming guest bartenders Matthew Schniper of @sidedishschniper and Jacob Pfund, owner of @rebelrebelcsco and former P.O. bartender, behind the bar for an evening of very good company and even better pairings with treats from @yellowbrickbakeshop.

Then rise, shine, and sip some P.O. coffee tomorrow morning with Sip with Schnip, Part 2! Get a taste of @bluebirdbreakfastativywild's new breakfast offerings, then settle in for a special coffee tasting class with Eric Nicol, owner of @loyalcoffee and the original manager/bartender of the Principal’s Office when we opened our doors in 2013.

Pull up a barstool Friday, Oct. 16, 6-9pm for Sip with Schnip at @poativywild. Matthew Schniper from @sidedishschniper is stepping behind the bar alongside Jacob Pfund, owner of Rebel Rebel and former P.O. bartender, for a special evening of cocktails and a little friendly guest-bartending mischief. We’ll also have a special menu of cocktail + dessert pairings featuring sweet treats from @yellowbrickbakeshop.

Then come back Saturday morning for Sip with Schnip: Part 2 at @bluebirdbreakfastativywild, from 8-10am. Matthew will be back to sip P.O. coffee and taste the new yummy offerings at Bluebird Breakfast. Joining him will be Eric Nicol, owner of Loyal Coffee and OG manager/bartender of the Principal’s Office when it opened in 2013. Eric will give a special coffee tasting class between 8:30-9:30am. Plus, indulge in a special build-your-own mimosa and bloody mary bar.

In episode 3 of What’s Cookin’ at Ivywild, @sidedishschniper‘s Matthew Schniper gets a taste of just-opened @yellowbrickbakeshop, then tucks into a hot breakfast from Ivywild’s newest eatery, @bluebirdbreakfastativywild.

From 7am-8pm every day, Yellow Brick offers wholesome loaves and sweet treats baked on site. Everything from scones and cinnamon rolls to baguettes and focaccia to cakes, tarts, and cookies fill the display cases just inside the double doors of Ivywild.

Cozied up next to the Principal’s Office, Bluebird serves up a simple menu of tasty favorites like eggs and bacon, breakfast burritos, and French toast from 7-10:30 every morning. Paired with a craft coffee from the P.O. or a morning pastry from Yellow Brick, it’s a super delicious way to start the day ☀️

🎶 @esp.hifi is the perfect spot for music listening, good drinks and great vibes.

🌭 @yachtclubbar is an award-winning neighborhood bar with great cocktails and hot dogs that look outta this world. Its sister restaurant, @lerougarou, was part of my last Chris Drinks Denver post, which you can also find in my bio.

Someone has to keep doing the research while Schniper is away. 😂

We’re so grateful for your continued support this year, and we’re excited about what’s ahead for Gold Star Bakery. We have said goodbye to our time at The Ivywild School, and we’re getting ready for a fresh new chapter: production is restarting at the reimagined Blue Star restaurant in just a few weeks!

In the meantime, our standard preorders are temporarily paused, but our 🥧THANKSGIVING PREORDERING for pies and treats is open NOW🥧 - so grab your favorite holiday goodies before our pie preorder slots fill up! We can’t wait to bring back the full menu once we’re up and running in our new home.

And for anyone wondering about same-day pick ups, we hope to roll out a new program to accommodate that soon - and move into a fresh retail space within the next 12 months. Stay tuned!

It’s time for episode 2 of What’s Cookin’ at Ivywild! Today it’s all about the inimitable Principal’s Office. Matthew Schniper enjoys a tipple with Alyssa Mather, Ivywild’s new Front of House Manager, and local cocktail maven Montana Horsfall of Craft Cocktail, to get the scoop.

Starting on September 21st you’ll see an innovative new fall cocktail menu at the PO developed by these two. Then October 5th will bring back coffee service all day long so you can have a cup with breakfast or dessert at Ivywild.

Cheers to the craft coffee and clever, inventive libations you’ve come to expect from your favorite purveyor of disciplinary action.

Want to know what’s cooking at Ivywild? Matthew Schniper talked to Mike & Amanda Bristol about their (finally) finalized plans for a refresh starting Sept. 21st!

Here’s a peek:

👉 The Principal’s Office rolls out its fall cocktail menu and expands its coffee game to add mornings and nights this month

👉 Ivywild Kitchen continues serving burgers, fries, and favorites, but with a refreshed menu from our new Executive Chef Paul Ryan

👉 Bluebird Breakfast opens Oct. 5th, serving up simple, hot breakfast favorites like eggs, french toast, burritos, and bowls

👉 Yellow Brick Bake Shop also opens Oct. 5th with breakfast pastries, desserts, homemade muffins, baked goods, and fresh bread

👉 The Restless Chef arrives Feb. 2027 and will bring a rotating menu inspired by a different culinary region or style each quarter. Decent Pizza will go away for now to make room for this one (Decent, we know you will be missed 🫶)

👉 Gold Star Bakery moves across the street to the (new!) Blue Star

👉 The Bristol Pub, Salad or Bust, Axe & The Oak, and Odds & Ends will remain the same
