Incredible lunch networking event at @polarislawco today. Thank you @sheiznay for hosting in your lovely space. And thank you Campbell River for coming out to talk about Navigating Constant Change Business. The way we work has changed because of the rapid pace of change we see particularly AI and tech, and it means we have to show up differently. Today we created space to connect and talk about how we are navigating that. Sharing solutions and observations and supporting each other.
Partial proceeds from today will go to the @crcommunityfoundation who, among the many ways they support the community, also provide a gathering place for work and business at The Heart.

Cold dips. Hot saunas. Lots of growing together ❤️

The water is cold but at least we’re not on the Titanic. ❄️🚢
@insta_graeme91 Twas so good to see you ✨⚡️

I am feeling so grateful for all those who attended Barefoot and Unbound, a one-day retreat for female entrepreneurs who love being outside. We explored what it means to step out of isolation and into collaboration.
We had incredible conversations, amazing food and fun in both the sauna and river.
This was a joint venture between Shift Adventure and Wellness & Akoya Lifestyle and Wellness Therapy.

Cinespa Vol. 1 🌙

An intimate little experiment in film, ocean air, herbal tea, soft lights, and slowing down for a minute.

Thank you to everyone who came and made our first popup feel so warm and cinematic. And thank you to @naturalpasturescheese for sponsoring the evening with the dreamiest island cheeses and gelato 🧀

Roman Holiday on the projector, sea air in the background, women drifting between the beach and mini spa moments … exactly the kind of indie magic we hoped for.

More soon 🤍

🎹 In Italy they say “Coloro che cantano d’estate devono ballare d’inverno” which translates into “They who sing through the summer must dance in the winter”

That’s what I did to the “500 days of summer” soundtrack that Monica found instantly when I gave her my character reference ❤️ sometimes creatives just get it.

“I loved the beautiful stage picture at the end when Sibylle is lying down on the bench in the sauna. It was just fully taking up space, whereas in the beginning she was sitting right on the edge of the bench. Congratulations on some very strong work.” - Julie McIsaac

My spirit called me home. First time back in 7 years, I’m so fortunate to do ceremony, pick medicines off the land and reconnect with family.

I was able to reconnect with my dad after 4 years, see my grandma, and bring @terror.forming.film home. It was also amazing to bring @iamjdubs @sideofthewood @colevandale with me, and experience my culture!

I didn’t want to leave.
