From Unawatuna to Hiriketiya, we brought a little of our Bar Scene spirit along the coast.

At the heart of this takeover was our head bartender, Isuru — bringing his creativity, care and love for Sri Lankan flavours to every pour. Seeing him share the stories behind our cocktails across a new bar was a proud moment for the Sky Breeze family.

To the legendary Smoke & Bitters team, thank you for welcoming us behind your bar and sharing your space, your passion and your hospitality. Getting to create alongside people who care so deeply about their craft made this collaboration special.

To our Sky Breeze crew, huge thank you for all the preparation and heart that went into bringing this night together.

And to everyone who joined us, tried our creations and shared a conversation over a cocktail — thank you for being part of the story.

Two bars, a shared love for the craft, and a night that reminded us why we do this.

A legendary Hong Kong cocktail that absolutely deserves its own Pokémon card - @quinaryhk’s Earl Grey Caviar Martini by @mmcocktail. Served up at the incredible @wynn.palace’s @the50bars Asia festivities celebrations, it’s an absolute classic - swipe to see the legendary @sidjalan attempt the tower of foam, @mmcocktail serving it up and the first time I tried the creation, over 9 years ago (insta was very different back then! 😅)

What an evening it was in Milan where the world’s top 50 bars 2026 were announced in a ceremony filled with the spirit of community and camaraderie. @the50bars

@boilermaker.goa has been winning hearts all around the world and was in this years extended list at No. 58. We are all so proud of you @isaynegroni

Celebrating 10 years of @masquerestaurant in their reimagined space was nothing short of a dream and a learning in detailing with heart. ❤️

You can feel the sheer heart, vision, and intention behind every single detail - from Aditya and Aditi’s bold dream to rebuild from scratch, to Chef Varun’s brilliant menu and Mirelle’s seamless hospitality and entire team’s perfection.

A huge highlight was getting to taste the exceptional creations served by such an incredible lineup of global talent—@dej_kewkacha, @tamchaisiri, @willgoldfarb, @darshanmunidasa, @natsuko.ete, @chefvickycheng, @hiroyasu_kawate, @chef_zor_tan, @deanakanksha, @cheftonn, and @solbam_ti. For its 10 year anniversary @masquerestaurant pulled out all the stops. On night 2 they brought together chefs from around the world who have collaborated with them earlier for a very very fun dinner!

One or two chefs taking over a restaurant is impressive. But 12 international chefs come together to create a 12-course dinner, paired with exceptional wines from select wineries. Almost impossible to imagine.

Yet, Masque made it happen.

What was truly remarkable was watching 12 chefs from different countries work seamlessly as one team, course after course, in an unfamiliar kitchen, setting aside boundaries and egos, and personally explaining their creations at each table. The camaraderie and sheer passion were incredible to witness.

A huge round of applause to each and every chef for making this extraordinary launch dinner possible.

Immense credit to @aditidugar and @adityavdugar for daring to dream up a concept of this scale, and to Varun and Mirelle for executing it so flawlessly. And to the entire kitchen, service and Marcom teams, the tireless people behind the scenes who turned an incredibly ambitious idea into reality.

Walking into the Loya, Taj Mahal Palace for my first meal was a rush of profound emotions. The exquisite cuisine and timeless service were unforgettable, but what truly stirred my heart was knowing how deeply special this place was to my father. With every bite, his cherished stories echoed softly in my mind.

Following that magnificent meal, we embarked on a heritage walk through the corridors. Standing amidst walls that have witnessed decades of world-class hospitality, bridging the dignity of the British era with the vibrance of our generation, filled me with immense pride and reverence.

The true highlight of this journey was our guide, Grand Master Newton D’Souza, a man of boundless talent who effortlessly wears many hats. A gifted glass artist and a master storyteller, his infectious warmth and knowledge brought every quiet corridor of the hotel to life. Newton is not just an ambassador of history; with his creative brilliance and devotion, he stands as a true crown jewel in the Taj’s living legacy.

Swati Snacks - my first visit to this hole in the wall eatery. I'm bowled over by their popularity, they just sell snacks and they have huge waiting lines of more than 30-45 mins every day. They are super popular for their Gujarati offerings. A new dish I got to know called Panki, a Savory rice crepe so thin, soft and not crispy. And grills between banana leaves.

The rest of the snacks like the dahi chat, Pani Puri, Tikki chat were good but the bedai roti, shak and shrikand was a killer. To top it all off, the Malpua blew me away, truly the best unexpected moment of the meal. I’ve never had anything quite like it. If there’s one reason I’d come straight back to Mumbai, it’s for this dessert at Swati Snacks.
