SIEHS SHOWCASES SINDH’S FIRST RIVERINE BOAT AMBULANCE PROTOTYPE AT PIMEC 2025

Sindh Integrated Emergency and Health Services (SIEHS), under the Health Department, Government of Sindh, showcased the prototype of Sindh’s first Riverine Boat Ambulance at the Pakistan International Maritime Exhibition and Conference (PIMEC) 2025, being held from 3rd to 6th November at the Karachi Expo Centre.

The initiative, developed under the vision of the Health Department, Government of Sindh, aims to extend life-saving emergency care to communities that remain disconnected from road networks, particularly those located along the province’s coastal and riverine belts, as well as the islands.

The Boat Ambulance, currently in its prototype phase, is designed to navigate shallow waterways and flood-prone areas where traditional ambulances cannot operate. It is equipped with state-of-the-art medical gadgets, wireless communication systems, sonar equipment, long-range searchlights, life jackets, and first-aid medical facilities—enabling medical teams to provide care and stabilization during transport.

According to SIEHS officials, four boats have already been deployed on a trial basis, with plans to gradually expand the fleet to 26 across Sindh’s coastal regions. Once fully operational, the service is expected to play a crucial role during floods and natural disasters, ensuring access to emergency healthcare in areas that are otherwise inaccessible.

Speaking at the event, Brig. (R) Tarique Quadir Lakhiar, CEO of SIEHS, said that the Riverine Ambulance initiative represents “a vital step towards ensuring that no community is left behind when it comes to emergency care.”

PIMEC 2025, organized by the Pakistan Navy and Badar Expo Solutions with the support of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, is recognized as Pakistan’s flagship maritime event. With participation from around 100 countries, the platform brings together maritime, defense, and blue economy stakeholders to explore Pakistan’s growing potential in the global maritime sector.

So few days ago I got a chance to visit AMAN TECH..
.
So basically do you people have any idea ? Like what @amanfoundation is about ? What do people do there ? .
I’m pretty sure most of you are hearing it’s name for the first time or some of you maybe know but a little like I knew before .
Well I was in the same boat when I visited their institute, I was like WOW literally do we have such places too , it impressed me a lot I’m sure you’ll love it too .
Kher the place is designed by any German architecture company so their construction is not like our regular one .
They have covered an enormous area for their students
.
@amanfoundation is for all people who can’t afford good technical courses for free or with a least amount and this opportunity is just not for male gender females have their opinions too .
They’re offering a large num of courses i.e . 💁🏻‍♀️Automobile or Automechanic course .
RAC technician course .
Electrical and electronics course
.
Mechanical course .
Fabrication and welding course .
Computer applications and office professional course .
This is all diplomas they’re offering. With 4 months of learning and 2 months of training or internship .
For females they’ve started SUBH E KIRAN PROGRAM
For all those who wants to learn stitching for free they’re most welcome here. .
SUBAH KIRAN PROGRAM is basically for those poor ladies who wants to do something to earn for their families and some of them want to learn for their interest .

For all the women who wants to be a part of this course they’re accommodating by free transportation and machinery and clothes .
.
They just need to come and learn and earn for their loved ones .
I’m so impressed by what they’re doing with a help of @usaid is highly appreciatable .
The amount of facilities they’re providing to their students is much better than our so called universities.
.
Even they’re having their separate mess, masjid , parking , indoor n outdoor playing area , huge classes with projector and computer services .
This all shows up in their students work , they even made furniture using tyres and all . Even you can see I’m sitting over it .
.
I’ve so much more to write but I guess it’s enough .

Good afternoon you guys.
So Last week i got a call from my friend , who was taking some bloggers to this place called @amanfoundation . I get a chance to attend this event of *Subh-e-Kiran at Aman Foundation*
You guys mostly get to know this name because of the ambulance of aman but this is not the end . I am jotting it down what actually AMAN is:
This place is literally the most amazing institute of Karachi which has always been the hidden one. Because most of the people around me and even me wouldn’t knew this place and hard work until i went there . They are doing really good work. They provide inspiring opportunities with the help of quality vocational training centres and mentorship. Their main focus is basically to provide basic knowledge and enough training so an underprivileged student or person can earn their livelihood.
They are setting the correct example of women empowerment by providing them basic talent training . They have really amazing stitching short courses , where they learn not just tailoring but they also get enough basic behaviour skills .
I am really impressed by what they are doing on a very large scale . I must say if you can just appreciate their work . It would really give a good impact.
They are not only empowering the young girls and women but also to guys who are not much educated but they teach them about mechanics , car repair and lots of different skills . They just not provide the courses only but they also give jobs. Isn’t it the most surprising thing!
Hats off to the organisation. I would rate it as 10/10 because there are lots of organisations llbut not every other have such an amazing objective.

That will be beneficial for women and their homes! There are lot of women i saw that come from a different backgrounds but each of them are trained with complete professionalism! Their work show their dedication. .

. This Is what I learned recently when I was invited to @amanfoundation by @thepassagepr to visit their Aman Tech Department. I was so amazed by what these guys are doing for the Women of our country.

Just to give you guys a quick overview on what @amanfoundation are doing. They teach women who can’t afford education different type skills and set them up in the real world. Right now there are more than 1000 of women that are working in the textile and fashion industry because of what aman foundation is doing. .
.
I met women that are keen and willing to learn and have that desire to achieve something in their life. All they needed was a hand to hold and someone who can guide the into the world. And that is exactly what @amanfoundation does. 🌟

Passage PR organized the influencers meet at Aman Tech for their ongoing project Subh-e-Kiran.
The idea of the visit is to familiarize with Vocational Training and Education as it trains men and women with employable skills.

We are also grateful to have renowned fashion designer Ms. Nadia Mistri for joining us today and motivating students of Subh-e-Kiran.

Subh-e-Kiran aims to improve economic conditions of marginalized women. it's a 4-month long training program leading to employment opportunities. The idea is to uplift and empower women through #SkillsDevelopment.

PRCS volunteers spread awareness among general public of Iqbal Park, Stadium Road, Sadiqabad, Food Street Double Road of Rawalpindi about the significance of their positive attitudes towards the doctors, hospital staff and nurses. 1000+broachers including guidelines and Emergency cards were distributed among the targeted beneficiaries. They were guided about dealing with emergency situations. Interviews were conducted to gather feedbacks regarding #bharosakarein campaign.
