Together, we’ll explore healing as both a personal practice + collective responsibility through restorative dialogue, embodied practices, healing arts, self-expression + community connection.

🦋 Three Learning Objectives:

🌎 Understanding Race & Systems of Power
Explore race as a social construct + how racism operates through historical, institutional and systemic patterns that continue shaping our communities.

🌀 Historical Trauma, Soma & Nervous System Care
Explore how historical trauma, ancestral wounds + social conditions live in the body and relationships while practicing tools for nervous system care, resilience + healing.

🤝 Embodiment, Accountability & Collective Liberation
Move beyond awareness into action through belonging, solidarity, accountability + practical ways to embody anti-oppression values in everyday life.

Together, we practice remembering, reconnecting, repairing harm + reimagining what collective healing can look like, with space for creative expression and sharing what wants to be expressed.

No prior experience with restorative justice, anti-racism or healing arts is necessary. QTBIPOC-centered + all are welcome.

Sierra Berkeley Fisher has been teaching yoga for over 7 years in NYC and recently opened their own studio, The Atrium Space, with their bestie ! They incorporate their background as an actor, singer, dancer & aerialist into their classes. Their prime goal as an instructor is to help people feel good in their own bodies ! 🧘

Sierra will be teaching yoga on the beach at Onset Festival Saturday, September 19. Yogis will look outwards - at friends kayaking and canoeing on the lake onsite - and inwards, preparing themselves for a beautiful day of nature, music, aerial & fire performance, and more 🌞🎪

The Atrium is a home for the celebration of all bodies, and movement of all kinds. Whether you’re an instructor with us or a student, you can quite literally feel the love in everything we do, from a ritualized class-setup to the light pouring in through the skylights, to a room full of fellow dancers + movers + shakers, ready to learn and support one another through the process, every step of the way. Community is kind of our thing, if you haven’t noticed yet.
