RECENT BAKES!!! The best part of baking is sharing it with friends ❤️ this post is a huge dump of my recent baking projects :) over the last 2ish months, I’ve made the following:

- caramelized banana bread —> this was a huge hit @siftwithkima
- chocolate banana muffins —> shared these with my office!
- key lime pie bars —> for @justinskene margarita party!!!
- Rice Krispy treats —> a nostalgic childhood favorite, also for the margarita party!! I forgot how EASY these are to make!
- chocolate peanut butter brownies —> these are my favorite recipe of the year. I made these for my Galentine’s party and had to make them again.

Huge fan of all @sallysbakeblog recipes!!

I knew the moment I saw @siftwithkima post this banana biscoff cake that I would make it.

But I waited for an occasion, because making a 9x13 cake this lush definitely calls for sharing.

This delicious cake was shared with both friends and family and everyone loved it. After all that sharing I was so glad there was a piece left for me to enjoy the next day 😋

@siftwithkima knows how to make a killer banana cake. This is my second one from her site and both are worth checking out!!

A couple of things lead me to this bake. Leftover chocolate babka filling and brown bananas.

I am making more of an effort to use anything I have purchased and never opened. Like this @nordicwareusa Charlotte pan I found a couple years ago. I was waiting for the right fancy cake, but I got tired of waiting.

All of that pointed me to 'Banana Cake with Chocolate Frosting' @siftwithkima

And oh my, what a choice this was! This heavenly banana cake is lightly spiced and so wonderfully moist. I immediately saved this one to make again.

It also fit perfectly in my Charlotte pan! I love how it looked. I can't believe I sat on this pan for years. I added my leftover frosting into the center and then grated over one square of dark chocolate for texture. I could not be happier with this entire process 😁

So good! 😋😋
And you will be seeing more of this pan now that I am fully obsessed 😉

Brown 🤎 Butter 🧈 Biscoff 🇧🇪 Blondies 👱🏻‍♀️ by Hakima @siftwithkima ! I saw my buddy Melinda @meljorino make these a whiiiiile ago and I finally got around to making them. This was actually many months ago - one of the treats I brought for Easter 🐣 with Jeremy’s cousins (ok, my cousins too 💞), along with the @csaffitz 👑 Forever ♾️ Brownies 🟫. As many of you are aware, those Forever ♾️ Brownies 🟫 are totally 💯💣🔥 but I think these blondies might be a new 🆕 favourite! I love brown butter 🧈. I love Biscoff cookies. The recipe is dead ☠️ simple. I neeeeeed to make these agaaaaaiiiiinnnn. 🤤

Blueberry Chocolate Cake - Come and indulge with me! Perfect for the chocolate lover's dream. Rich, moist, and topped with a heavenly blueberry creamcheese frosting that's light, creamy, and absolutely divine. The decadent chocolate cake pairs perfectly with the tangy sweetness of the blueberry frosting. Although the frosting had a mind of its own and slid over the edge, we took it as a bonus 😋😂!

My guy is not a real cake fan. Pies, chocolate in particular, are a typical request for celebrations. I went out on a limb and decided to surprise him with Dubai Chocolate Brioche Buns @siftwithkima .
These are visually beautiful from the beginning and a pleasure to make - I put some steps in stories if you have an interest - but the sweet treat is watching someone try one.
You have the sweet softness of a vanilla brioche bun (the center is lined with a small dollop of chocolate), and a healthy portion of a rich combination of crispy toasted kunafa, pistachio cream, and tahini to complete all of your textural needs. A drizzle of chocolate, a sprinkle of crushed pistachios, and maybe a birthday candle?! This is birthday breakfast! Who needs chocolate pie? (Ok. Who needs chocolate pie today ;)
