The iconic Uncle Sam statue, a Fort Erie fixture for at least three decades, was removed from the roof of Delta Gaming & Bingo, once known as Uncle Sam’s Bingo Palace, by Niagara Falls-based Signature Sign & Image. The statue, which beckons bingo players from Niagara and across the border, was taken down to be repainted.
