I had the privilege of attending the two-day African Neurodiversity Conference, organised by the Association of Nigerian Educational Psychologists (ANEP) with the theme “Shifting Minds, Implementing Action.”

It was an enriching experience that brought together national and international experts, advocates, educators, and individuals with lived experiences from different parts of the world.

Thank you Dr @adegokejohnson for encouraging me to attend!
How could I have missed out on this wonderful learning experience 🤷🏽‍♀️😃

I truly appreciate all the entire TANC team for putting this conference together because aside the learning, I got to expand my professional network too💃🏻🥂

Sign language has a vocabulary for dentistry too. 🦷🤟

For Sign Language Week, SCDAN teamed up with @signwithjoy to teach common dental terms in sign language and highlight the importance of accessible communication in oral healthcare.

Being able to understand and be understood can make dental care more comfortable and inclusive for members of the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

Here’s to making dentistry more accessible, one sign at a time. 🦷🤟

Today, we celebrate the International Day of Sign Languages. 🤟🏽💚

Language is more than spoken words. It is connection, expression, understanding and the ability to participate fully.

At RISE Summit 2026, we are continuing the conversation on inclusion — from cradle to contribution. And what better way to share this invitation than through sign language?

Because inclusion means creating spaces where everyone can communicate, participate, contribute and be heard.

Watch our invitation in sign language and join us at RISE Summit 2026.
